Heard a rumour that Andrew shinnie was being released by rangers and may be a butcher target. Source - random chat my dad had with someone at the hibs game!!

If I remember correctly not so long ago Wayne'granny lover' Rooney said he was leaving man utd, a week later he signed a new deal and all was forgotten. I don't see how a similar situation albeit from the managers perspective could happen here. Would be great to see a u turn not just from last nights performance but from the fans reaction and support of a great club player!

As much as I agree with it being a great loss Russell leaving, and yeah maybe him and butcher don't see eye to eye. However we have lost players before either sold or free transfers who have been key players and we have filled the void quickly and moved on. He hasn't played much this season prob due to personality clash and that's sad and annoying, but to say that it's the worst decision by butcher and that it could be the beginning of the end if his time as ICT manager is quite frankly ridiculous. IMO he has never been a top player but a good one. I think people are overreacting if he's not gonna play we can't keep him- simple as that. He isnt the player that's going to make the difference in every game cos as you all know he has played some shockers ! It's just frustrating to hear overreaction to one player who has been a good servant to the club but in no way holds it together. We will sign a replacement and move on. - simples .

Im off the easter Monday game as it happens, however I work in Perth Royal Infirmary and we have already had our public Hols last week as I'm sure many other might have. Monday is a normal day so in terms of sts fans I'm sure there are a lot of them working in the hospital and obviously won't make the game. You would think the spl may consider these facts before moving a game. Any way I will be there hoping to beat the saintees to wind up my Perth friends and colleagues!

Hoping the game against st johnstone is in Perth. That'd be nice and handy!
