  1. Sacking the last manager hasn't exactly done us much good, so don't know that setting up a revolving door is going to help the cause much. :( Once concern about today after a reasonable fight back in the first half and inept second half - are the players running out of steam, the one good thing about Brewsters time was an exceptionally fit squad, are the players not fit enough now? Such a collapse late on suggests a team that can't play 90minutes.
  2. That was my understanding, I mean, come on has anyone tryed sitting at a Morton Game DVT tastic lol. Why can't the club unbolt the seats on the West Terrace and re-open it as a terrace. Then those that want to stand can. Oh wait that might be being sensible ! :006:
  3. If as I heard the staff and the resources were all at the Narin Games, then if G&M Whyte are still the caterers at the next home game the club should be ashamed of themselves after the way the fans were treated today. It's not like it's the first time either, they let the club down because there was a bigger buck to be made a bit further East along the A96. It's not as if the catering is up to much, that their going would be much of a loss. At the very least, let the main stand stall or the west stand portacabin out to a different contractor than the main stand. Having two competing contractors should at least ensure that there's at least 2 outlets open!
  4. Yawn! The club will need support next year not your never ending negativity. Contrary to what you might believe, all your moaning and negativity achieves is the undermining of your own credibility and not that of other people.
  5. Why don't you take your own advice, the day you do this website will be a better place.
  6. Might Robertson be thinking I want to be remembered for bringing Caley Thistle into the SPL, not for bringing us back to the first division. How will he fair without Park and any chance that he will come back. Brewster's second stint seemed to fall apart after Park left!
  7. If Brewster was not up to the job, then clearly the Board and the DoF are even less fit for purpose. How can you let the manager sign new players who have come to the club on the basis of Brewster being the manager, then fire that said manager 2/3rds of the way through the transfer window with the new players been here for only 2 games, one of which was a win? If they were sacking Brewster it should have been at the start of the window or at least before he signed players. To do it now after he's signed players this smacks of a lot desperation and an even larger doze of incompetence (and not on the managers part this time).
  8. The Story is now online: Esson takes over as stopper from Fraser http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/fu...rom_Fraser.html As for reading Friday's Courier on a Thrusday evening, no conspiracy, happened to be in a newsagents when it arrived!
  9. Just read the back page of Friday's Courier and Esson will make his first start on Saturday. Brewster says there will be "one or two" changes to the outfield starting line up as well. I guess I better not copy the whole bit in here with copyright and all that!
  10. Time to start hacking them to bits?? What happens if the match gets abandoned due too many red cards?
  11. A successful season would be to still be in the running for the Top 6 as we approach the split. A great season would be getting the top six. An acceptable season - well if we're honest merely staying in the SPL is an achievement for a club with Caley Thistles resources, I'd say 9th or above was just about acceptable and though disappointing not to be going forward, staying up ultimately isn't too bad a season even if 11th, if you don't believe that, ask the supporters of the club that finishes 12th.
  12. Someone can drink a few pints, get in their car and mow down some kids. On your ""logic"" that makes everyone who drinks a pint of beer a lunatic. Are you a lunatic? :33: :sillywave:
  13. Just to show how absurd football stadium rules and stewarding have become. I was watching the Tennis at Wimbledon this lunchtime and to be quite honest not many of the 11,500 people in the All England Clubs Number 1 Court would have got to see much tennis with SPL stadium rules and ICT stewarding. They'd all have been kicked out!! Flags, horns, standing, chanting, singing, various drums and snare drums, loud hailers, air horns, ratchets, .... pints in hand... and people thing the All England Club is stuck up! SPL and the Police across Scotland need to get a grip. Why did the club agree to this behaviour rules, why not stand up against the fun police?
  14. A park bench on the West Terrace should suffice! :015:
  15. Speak to someone in MFR's commercial Production department, afaik it was put together in their commercial production studio so there will be a master copy of it lurking somewhere!
  16. THe commentary can just stop working again I think! :019:
  17. OK they got the Hibs aberdeen game back quick enough, so what about us? :018: oh and Hibs 1 - Brewster 2 :029:
  18. Technical issues? Surely they can muster a mobile phone between them! :rolleyes02:
  19. Probably just as well if we to get NW!
  20. I think those being so hostile to any/all of our past managers need to look at the wider picture here. Caley Thistle is probably in a fairly unusual situation for a football club in that we have three ex managers available who whatever their failings elsewhere proved themselves at Caley Thistle and despite going back 5 years in the case of Pele, all 3 could still hit the ground running and know many of the players and other people at the club. Indeed we can still field pretty much a whole team made of players from Pele's era. Given the unfortunate start to this season I can easily see where the board are coming from if they opt for one of the previous managers, rather than gamble on an unknown quantity who even if they turn out to be a good choice may take a period of time we don't really have to bed in and get to know the team. In all three cases Pele, Robo and Brewster basically left for a shot at their 'dream team', and I can't hold that against any of them. The fact they all got well and truly shafted by their 'dream team' means their also unlikely to repeat that move. Better to regret that which you have done than that which you have not done. I can't help but feel if Brewster is appointed that Brewster now could well be a better ICT manager than the Brewster that never left, let the chance at Dundee United slip away and spent the past 18months wondering what if.
  21. BBC also says: That will be the three man short list then?
  22. Enjoy your one man protest! :sillywave:
  23. Here we go 3-5-2... will we get to a 2-5-3 :crazy07:
