  1. Caleycallum, joe and midget so far for a wednesday kick about (and myself of course). Any more takers?
  2. I put an open invite on the Memorial Trophy thread, for forum members to join some of us involved in the fans match for a kick-about/training session on Sunday. Although only 6 people showed up, we had a good 2-hour knock about. So I'm putting another open invite here (as i know some people dont read 'pinned' topics.) I'm off on Wednesday and Thursday this week, and would like to get a few together for another kick about. With Welfare Football taking priority for the pitches at the Bught from around 6/7pm onwards, would anyone be interested in a kick about during the day - say from 1pm till 3pm on either/both days? If there's enough interest then I'll confirm day and time on this thread tomorrow night. If not, then so be it. Just be a laugh and a bite of extra training for the people involved in a fortnight.
  3. Just been on the Errea website. Spotted this nice one... I've not been through the whole thread, so apologies if it's been previously posted. I'm just looking forward to the kit release, and would be happy if it was somewhat similar to this design
  4. 6 lads showed for a wee kick about at bught park this afternoon. 4 of which are playing in 2 weeks time. It wasnt anything formal and we all enjoyed ourselves. Not too many opertunities to get together for another kick about before the game, but may start a new thread if one arises.
  5. Open invite for any forum members who wish to have a kick about on Sunday, Midday, at Bught Park. Jumpers for goalposts stuff. Nothing fancy. Just a kick about for an hour or two. Possibly a beer afterwards, but we'll see
  6. I am reliably informed that the SkyDive event has been postponed due to restrictions over air-space down in Glenrothes. A new date for the jump splat is yet to be confirmed. To say Julie is disappointed is an understatement (I think she's managed to gee herself up a bit this week in preparation for it, as was actually looking forward to it). Many thanks to those who have donated so far. Please keep the donations coming, and we'll let everyone know when the re-arranged jump splat has been organised for
  7. It was mentioned a couple of years back that the stadium could do with a fresh lick of paint and some work done to parts of the stadium (Toilet Facilities, Catering Counters etc etc) Volenteers turn up to shovel snow in winter, but would anyone be willing to help decorate? How's about people use this thread to discuss ways to actively SAVE THE CLUB MONEY, rather than raise funds. After all, money saved is just as good as money raised. I'd happily grab a roller from homebase and join fellow fans in giving the lavs a lick of paint.
  8. Squad List has been released a****st the players involved. And I must say, with being pals with most on there, I recon we've definately got the spirit and desire in the squad to give them over the bridge a damn good game... Ohhhh how I'm looking forward to this!!! BRING 'EM ON
  9. I heard rumour a while back that he was on Ross County's books. He's now signed a two-year deal at Carlisle. But what surprised me is his goals to games ratio!! According to the BBC Article on the signing, he's scored just 35 goals in 328 appearances since turning professional at Everton in 1997. For a striker, that's a pretty poor return.
  10. That's it guys - solution to the Highland March route next year found (should we get a trip to dingwall, of course)
  11. Judging by those on the mailing list, I'd probably make a guess that most taking part are members of this forum, although a few haven't posted for a while/regularly. BA will be taking up position in goal, that's for sure, and it seems we'll have a strong defense, speedy midfield and goalscoring strikers (exactly what a team needs). We'll even have our own super-subs (Probably)... Everyone is welcome to make the trip to the game and lend their support. It's £3 entry to the game and all money goes to charity, and the Trophy looks fantastic. I've not heard of any pre/post match watering holes yet, but I'm sure this'll be sorted nearer the time. CapitalCaley is in charge of ICT Team Affairs at the moment, so best to PM him if you need to bring your boots.
  12. Kilmarnock to Aberdeen - 168 miles Kilmarnock to Inverness - 191 miles I think you'll agree, not much difference, yet they've travelled to Aberdeen for years and years, and should be used to us by now. Victoria Park is only over the bridge and round the corner, a little down the hill and over the railway line. Surely their fans are charged the same price on the supporters bus for ourselves and aberdeen? If that is indeed the case, then how much more of a financial burden is it for their fans? Idiot
  13. Whilst looking on OverTheBridge at all the Hayes gossip, I came across their 'Memorial Trophy' thread... They really are up for this. They had another training session the other day. Seem's like their striker is either very good, or their keeper is completely rubbish. He's scored a few in their wee 7-a-side training sessions so far. I'm quite a competetive chap, and although this is meant to be a fun match, there's no way i'll be wanting to walk away without that trophy. The gym will be my home for the next few weeks (if I can get away from the beer fridge). Bring 'em on!!! Grrrr
  14. I'll Play... Oh to put one over on my home town team. Lol. Fair few pals asking me about this. Aside from the fans match, this is what I'll be looking forward to pre season
  15. I'll play :D
  16. In which case, I'll throw my hat in the ring for a start up front
  17. TheKarl - Are you 'Wum' in disguise? Seriously pal, there are other ways to generate some team spirit than slag people off that didn't make it down for a damn photo!! Quite cheesed off by that comment tbh. Completely uncalled for!! Anyway, I digress... Looking forward to this game. Had a run out for my local welfare team the other day. Felt good and bagged the 4th in the 6-2 win. I know 3 lads who are playing as we've all played together before. And I must say, our keeper (BA) is gonna be one hell of a keeper to beat! Looking forward to starting up front with IHE. Sounds like that, with his form and mine, we're gonna have one hell of a strike partnership! (That's if I make the starting 11 of course). I know Capital has tried to keep everyone in the loop via e-mail, but for everyone else clarity, can we please confirm the details of the match... by this i mean, is it rolling subs, who's all playing, what is the line up. Whats the itinerary for the team pre-match and indeed is there a 'party' afterwards. One or two people I know of may take the trip down for this, but considering the fuel costs etc, it may be worth allowing these people to join in more than just turing up and paying their £3... Just a thought
  18. Don't get me wrong, I love the red and blue combo, I just think the strip we wore (colour combo and stripe design) in our division 3 days was the best we've ever had and was unique in that no other team looked identical.
  19. I was about to locate the e-mail sent out by Capital and perhaps see when the Inverness based ICT players were free for a kick-about.
  20. Our kit should be 'a la division 3' A dark blue and purple striped strip. No other team I can think of has that colour combination. And it'd eliminate the need for the design to have to incorpoate the red and black of thistle with the blue and white of caley. We are, after all, one team.
  21. Here's a thought for you if you don't like someone's thread rather than just be rude why don't you ignore it I presume the same can be said for other peoples' posts on threads also [inserts well known Derek and Clive comment]
  22. Oh, great... yet another boring and negative thread.
  23. This thread has got really quite boring now that it's turning into an 'I told you so' slanging match...
  24. gordieICT, the way I see it, there is no spin coming from Butcher. Butcher hasn't said a damn thing regarding Rossco yet so where on earth is the spin of which you speak. The only 'spin' on the Rossco story is coming from The Sun, Mrs Tokely's facebook page and the theories flying about these very forums as a result. And all from the same very people who have moaned about Munro's departure all season. Call me a happy clapper, accuse me of falling into butchers so called trap or whatever the heck you like. The FACT of the matter is Rossco was offered a contract and he has refused it. There simply wouldnt be this discussion if Munro and Duncan hadn't been released last year, nor would there be this discussion had it been any other member of the squad. I can;t wait to see what happens next year when Ross or Sutherland get released. But I bet it'll have some sort of 'butcher slaughters our team' conspiracy attached to it.
  25. Re: Brewster video... 1:43 says it all
