  1. The Legends team is shaping up to be a strong one. They have 15 confirmed Legends already and a few others are willing to play their part should they be available. Here's a few names to tickle the taste buds and I think you'll agree it's shaping up to be a cracking line-up for the Fans to compete against. Managed by our Third Division Winning Captain, Mike Noble, we'll see a legends team involving Jim Calder, Barry Wilson and Charlie Christie. Also taking part is former ICT Manager John Robertson, who will feature alongside Alan Hercher. The Legends' full line-up will be announced closer to match day, as will the names of all the fans taking part in what will be a fantastic day! The Fans team is coming along nicely and they will not shy away from the challenge. They will have a formal training session on Thursday 6th December conducted by an ICT coach in preparation for the big day. Kick Off for the match is SUNDAY 9th DECEMBER, 1330hrs and Spectator Entry is by Donation on the day.

With today's crowd going below 3000 for the first time in a while, it got me thinking as to when the last time the crowd had gone below 3000 in a competitive match at Home... The last time was in fact a Cup Match back on 5th Feb 2011 The last League game to encounter a crowd less than 3000 was a 4-0 win over Airdrie in march 2010. In the SPL, however, was actually at Pittodrie in December 2004, a 1-1 draw against Hearts... The means NEVER BEFORE TODAY has the crowd at TCS, for an SPL fixture, been below 3000... I confess that was my first game of the season, but does this not go to show that our club does not benefit from Sunday games because of the televised matches???
  3. After Octobers postponement it's great to see this match getting the go ahead once more. Although disappointed with the call off initially, no-one can control the weather. It has, however, meant that a few more legends are able to free themselves up for involvement. With the Boxing Night organised for Friday 7th, Hibs at TCS on Sat 8th and now the Fans V Legends on Sun 9th, it's shaping up to be an action packed weekend.
  4. GR10 JNR is coming in at £260.... Excellent!!!
  5. Could the Mod's please move this post to the Other Football section of the site. The information provided by KingBeastie is FACT and Not a rumour, therefore it's been posted in the wrong forum.

There is a Supporters Direct Fans Roadshow at the Stadium on Monday evening, starting at 6:30pm. Seemingly it's a 'Question Time' style event where fans will get to ask questions of a panel of Supporters Direct and Scottish Football representitives, including John Robertson. Entry is FREE and on a first-come first-served basis. MORE INFO HERE
  7. I certainly think Easter Road has taken the shine of the Semi Final. If one Semi is at Hampden, the other should be too. If not, then BOTH semi-finals should be played away from Hampden.
  8. Dates have been discussed with the club for the re-arranged fixture. Confirmation of date is, however, yet to be recieved. Those taking part will be first to know of the rescheduled date before mentioning the fixture on the forum.

The scary part about it (for other sides) is that Foran isnt yet at full fitness again
  10. Maybe he has been confused with Wyness101???

The lads in the north stand have drums, but there's no reason why the family section couldnt make use of them. It'd give the kids something to do and although it'll probably be an out of time/continuous/annoying (delete as appropriate) noise, it'll keep the kiddies entertained during matches and make them feel part of the day. (And possibly entice mummy and daddy to bring them again)

Resigns as Hartlepool United manager after a run of 12 games without a win.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20031989
  13. Have you seen who's 18th from bottom... It'll be interesting to see how much longer Billy Reid stays in charge at Hamilton. 30 points off Ross County last season and they've had a terrible start to this. No doubting he knows every player at the club and has built a good youth program, but I can't see him being there come season end.
  14. No news still on new date for the Fans V Legends fixture. However, those involved in the match are welcome to head to Millburn Academy for a kick-about on Thursday at 6pm.
  15. I know that Davie has communicated a couple of choice dates with the club, but it's ensuring we have use of the pitch (possibly floodlights too) and ensure we have a legends team. It took a good 8 to 10 weeks to organize the original date. I would imagine the match to be played towards the back end of November, given that there are no games at TSC around that time. PM Me your mobile number wyness. I dont have it in my phone.
  16. Disappointed is an understatement, but thoroughly appreciate that no one has control over the weather. I'm just hoping now that i'm off work for the re-arranged date.
  17. There were certainly some encouraging signs there tonight. A little more talking, a little tighter in the midfield, and I think these legends could well be in for a decent game!
  18. From the Caley Jags Together Website...
  19. After finally managing to secure the day off, I can confirm I've officially signed up. REALLY looking forward to meeting some new team mates and get the craic at training on Thursday. Barry Wilson and John Robertson have been instrumental in helping us acquire fellow legends to play, as has Mike Noble. Jim Calder will be in sticks for the legends and I believe Charlie Christie is also taking part. Plenty other great names in there too. Even if you are not taking part or know anyone who is, why not come along and watch. It'll be a great day out and a chance to see your fan representation tackle your heros. A cash bar will be available after the game also. Kick off is 2pm, Sat 13th October
  20. Correct RossP. Everyone behind the scenes at Caley Jags Together is a volenteer, so to tie the organisation of this event in with our day-to-day lives and work commitments, people who expressed an interest via the e-mails and phone numbers will be contacted in due course. And just for DewsburyDude -
  21. 'twas last September I played FOR the legends against Curry Hoose, bagging a Hat-trick in my half-hour substitute appearance. This time, I'll be looking to bag a few goals for the FANS... really looking forward to this, and totally expect there to be a lot of interest. If your name isnt down and you fancy what will be a fantastic day, click the link and get it down...
  22. I think adam was unfortunate at Birmingham. He would have been 2nd or 3rd choice striker when he first joined the Blues, as all the had was Zigic. But only a week or two after adam arrived, they brought in Marlon King. King was immense for the blues and with a fully fit Zigic, there was no real place for adam but the bench. I sincerely hope he comes good at swindon and makes an impact.
  23. There's something about the Benny Hill theme tune and Celtic FC that reminds me of this from last season...
  24. Has joined Tranmere on a month long loan... http://www.tranmererovers.co.uk/news/article/golobart-344082.aspx
