  3. The 54 was announced near to full time by the sky sports commentators, dont shoot the messenger ;)
  4. My dad - a neutral made the same comment as you last night caleyd, saying that the fa cup game would mentally relegate them especially with us still going there on sat 18th feb
  5. Quality wise very poor first half, slightly better second with the introduction of shinnie. Tacticly fantastic by butcher, bringing shinnie on at ht livened us up, and then ross with 5 left gave us energy in extra time, well done to the 54 away lads and lasses! Bring on the greens
  6. Slightly off topic but i have managed to get a return from eastleigh to glasgow for £37 with my railcard, also dunfermline the weekend after is sub 60 and somehow for the dundee utd game on sun 4th i managed to get a train to killie on the sat (i am a sad groundhopper) for £17 !!
  7. so are we all to take little signs saying REPLAY? to tynecastle saturday?

  9. Yep i couldnt lose today, (my family being from forres). Was that you trying to set fire to the stand at ht, the cake looked yummy!
  10. Yes a good battling display by both teams, terry butcher who was in attendance will have seen and learnt alot i think from all the players. I thought the officials lost it a bit in the second half but yes well done ict
  11. I lost yesterday, sorry to ihe and ictbob! Got back to the hostel at 7 and zonked out, woke up to a few texts asking where i was. Sorry about that boys, everyone had warned me about a day with ihe and i had started at 11 :). Had a great and friendly reception from all of the 20+ people i met, outstanding, thanks for that!
  12. Thats brilliant ihe. Will be in inverness from 11 tomorrow so give us a bell anyone who wants a drink -

  20. there was no trains back from yeovil or bath for me so wasnt expecting to make them, however dad surprised me at work today and took me and my brother. another great away day, met IHE, Capital caley and another gentlemen who came over who was constantly singing. i hope you dont have too much of a sore head this morning. i was impressed with hayes, ginger right mid (1st half), tokely and ross. i think we need more height in our team and couldnt help but think duncan would really help this young team with experience! see you all saturday
  21. youre absolutely right charles, however for the least amoung us (me) who have four airports to choose to fly to, the earlier the better so i can save the ? and therefore have a better time/ make the trip north more times through the season. i will definitely be up for the opening game :)
  22. Gilks is younger than Esson and has played 17 games in the best league in the world this season. He has to get in there before Esson. Turner has also played 19 league games in the Championship this season. The only thing keeping Esson out these days is there are younger keepers who have great potential and that is what you always look for in a 3rd choice keeper. any one like me making the trip over?
  23. good to hear praise when its due like you say. the guys who make the noise have been very vocal and i was surprised at how many there were at hibs - so big thumbs up there, however at aberdeen they just let themselves down a little. they could all be a great advertisement for the club and its good to hear that what they were yesterday
