Allright we didn't get the three goal win I forecast on Gringo's NPL but we could well have done so with a little bit of luck so my forecast wasn't all bishes bashes and boshes after all. Fingers crossed for another good performance against the Dons. Keep on with the positivity!!!

Interesting replies and like many posters I am still on the fence with my heart saying go for it. Trouble to my mind is that many of the things that are happening with our present Scottish parliament are edging towards dictatorial influences, local governments will say one thing only to be overuled by those in power. The power pylon trail from Beauly, The golf course saga, the Invergordon incinerator, to name just three instances Alex M. mentions we are talking a democratic Scotland not a dictatorship, I agree with this if the original definition of Democracy is used and not the modern theme of we are all in it together as long as you do as we say! My other big concern is:- will it really help the real Highlands, Inverness and beyond to the North, or will we still just be used as a convenient area to house all the wind turbines, nuclear waste and other nasties to enable the middle belt to clean up and prosper. I want to learn a great deal more and have firm assurances before casting my vote. Independance for the Highlands may have to be the next agenda if things don't work out!

As a boy living in Laurel Ave nearly all my pals were Caley supporters and we followed most of their games, then came my Techy years when I had to make myself some pocket money so had to get a job as ' message boy ' working after school and on Saturdays so didn't have the same opportunity to watch them but couldn't wait to hear how they got on. Then came National Service, most of my time in Germany, still keen to hear Caley results, demobbed my work took me all over GB, again I couldn't wait to hear the results on radio. Now retired and living in the Highlands again I think it must be an addiction because now I'm typing this and at times slating those folk who are negative about my team in this same forum. Could never understand why anyone could support any other team if they had the slightest Sneck connection. I predicted in my younger days that one day Caley would win the Scottish cup and play in the then first division maybe even win it. Still got my fingers crossed and still think they will!!! pass me my rose tinted specs please !!! ICT man and proud of it!!! :love02: :love02: :love02:

weather and conditions up here are not always conducive to that style of play but ICT were playing that style earlier in the season b ut the finnishing wasn't there I'm afraid I like the idea though.

Tinted glasses !!!!!!.................. get lost! Time to take off the dark glasses more like! The potental in the squad of players we have is way beyond that of many other teams in the SPL. We ;have an excellent manager, not perfect but then who is? so why cant you see it ? are your glasses too dark ? or is it your head that is burried in the sand ? Stop slagging off and look a bit closer, there is a winning team there in all senses of the word.! Trouble is, some of you expect far too much and demand it immediately, have a bit more patience or go and join the opposition. ( maybe you already are the opposition??? )
