Contract Situation
Good question, both are very capable keepers, both are ahead of Esson in my book, much as he has served us extremely well in the past and is a fans' favourite. We don't know how the lay off and the injury is going to affect Brill, hopefully not in any way and he will soon get back to his best. Fon .W is a good stopper especially to his left, his right not quite so good but still better than many. His ability at cutting out crosses can be questionable but he has plenty of courage in tackling on rushing forwards and doesn't hesitate when the need arises. Brill the Commander of the box drilling his defence at the first sign of danger is an equally if not the slightly better stopper and holder when the shots come in but 'still learning the trade' when it comes to clearing passbacks and clearances, Williams better in that respect. I like them both, both very capable in their own ways. decisions! decisions! so to answer your question I will go for Brill as he is the one who is most likely to stay with us and correct me if I am wrong Sneckboy also has the better ratio of clean sheets.

January transfer window.
Anyone who is less than enthusiastic about coming to ICT would be a liability. We need players who want to join us only, they will put true effort and heart into training, coaching and performance.

Haven't seen confirmation of this-----still a rumour? As I suspected it is just a rumour that Stokes is going to Hibs, He may well do so yet though as according to Celtic there are still a number of Clubs looking to sign him on loan. The matter is still being discussed between The Club and Stokes and a decision will eventually be made when agreement is reached on what move is mutually beneficial. These are not the words used as I cannot remember them clearly but an interpretation of what was said.

These players who are leaving us were thrown in at the deep end on arrival here due to the loads of injuries Hughes had to contend with, I commend them for trying to fit in. to a style of football that got us up the league and the Scottish cup. We had lost great players, Fans were screaming for signings, we were struggling on and off the field, A very difficult time for J H. He tried to bring strength into the team but was knocked back time and time again. We have now got the wounded reaching match fitness, we are turning the corner now. A big thanks to these guys who have left us they did their best and kept us off the bottom-------------- nuff said

Now that I agree with especially the give him a contract part. WE are now a top Scottish Club and in order to stay that way we have got to speculate, we don't have to go overboard but we must try to make better use of our main assets than we have in the past. When John took over we saw good contracts given to main players I was hoping that trend would continue but we are being much too hesitant in securing our players. I have no idea whether or not offers have already been made and the players or their agents are stalling hence the hold up. If so we can't do much about that but if it is the Club that is not forthcoming with contracts, then as Scotty says, we are losing good money by giving them away for pennies------------------or less!!

On a more positive note an interpretation of the " goalposts have moved " could have a lot to do with the sudden blossoming of Polly, the pace of Vincent, the passing and freekicks of Tansey meaning an extra striker along with Storey has dropped in priority from essential to luxury. With the walking wounded recovering strongly we are getting back to the togetherness on the pitch that we had last season as well as the 'stand ins' now beginning to put their Yogi coaching into practice and performing with the Team instead of just alongside them. Happy days are here again !

Good philosophy but for Sneckie's sake applaud the first one and rejoice with him he is the counting man and he might just not wear his new anorak for spite.
