    Well done Jake a lovely bit of running, control and an excellent finish. This man continues to improve with every game, with Doran on one wing and Jake on the other opponents will have a lot to fear and to contend with.

    nah not yet C100 but enjoying a good malt, I was relating to Strachan's comment on height & body bulk being a necessity in todays teams. ( or words to that effect ) Our 'giants' today were the smallest men on the pitch, they played blinders running rings round the big lads.

    Robbo you 'have said it all, full marks to you for pulling this team together and instilling spirit. full marks too to the team for accepting responsibility and adding purpose to your play. What a joy that was today, nail biting towards the end but determination shone through. Gordon Strachan take note two best players on the field today Bell and Mulraney, Giants amongst men. Special mention for Ridgers excellent performance and brought of a superb save backpeddling in a swirling wind, one of the most difficult saves to make . Yes well done to the whole squad you are now doing us proud, thank you.

    Typical responses from the ignorant. National service was there for the defence of the Country. I don't think you have the slightest bit of experience of such or you wouldn't be putting a slur on this. Pity you weren't involved it would probably have given you a better insight to life and made you a much better person. Or then again in some cases maybe not !

    Hi AM wouldn't mind seeing a little edit here if you don't mind e. g. ''Also the abuse both players get from some home game watchers.......... barrackers and the likes and for that matter some posters on here.'' Why would they want to stay on here ??...........good question.............I sometimes wonder.

    Don't underrate Garry Warren there is a lot of ability there and could adapt to a forward role, We haven't got a proven decent marksman as yet and until such time as we do it is worth a punt

    I would like to see Garry playing up front, a good target man for the long and crossed balls, perfectly capable of ruffling a few defences and getting and making a goal or two..........thoughts ??

    A number of the new signings showed potential on first few appearances but for some unknown reason lack of ambition and lack of application soon set in and that potential seems to have gone out the window. Makes me wonder what is really going on '' in the dressing room'' could the root cause lie there? confidence being undermined etc or could it have something to do with the coaching ? such as dampening on flair or trying to stereotype how they should play. These are things that are niggling in my mind. Worrying thoughts.
