  1. What was that all about then. Did we get what we paid for? I don't think so. If you paid a pound you were short changed.I have a season ticket and feel cheated. I think the next deal should be, we will pay you to come. Back to football, the question is,. when will we be back to football? There are some players who need to give themselves a shake, even if it serves them to be able to work out what the management team require of them, from the stand I don't have a clue . Is it enough to give it "a right good go" or should we revert to football, that is the question. signed Disillusioned
  2. Don t know what Raven did but took a lot of stick from Hughs. I felt it a bit unfair unless he was supposed to score a hat trick. Storey deprived of any service apart from a great goal from Mutombo who after that spent most of the night turning himself inside out and greating nowhere we had no forward line. All in all lucky to come away with a win. Having said that I suppose we used to do the same as Stirling when in their postion. Have to say though, not impressed with the performance at this or some of our previous games need to get some cohesion between back and front. all very well have a good passing side but it needs to be further up the park.
  3. We really need Raven back, grown men surely should be able to sort things out. The team is bigger than both of them come on guys rattle back in the pram.
  4. Would appear to have had a not bad game at the Derby. I was not at the game watched it on alba seemed to be ok
  5. Down at stadium to-day for Rod Stewart tickets, arrived about 8.00 seem to be first there. A lady got out of a car and said she had been there since 6.00 would we mind if she was first in line. No problem, just then the chairman arrived the lady in front knew him and asked if there was a chance of coffee he just laughed and went inside only to appear with pen and paper and said if the first 6 would like to place their order he would sort it, 10 mins later he appeared with a tray with our coffee on it. Where would that happen, makes you proud to be a supporter of the club its these thinks that make a huge difference. Thank you Kenny.
  6. I have said it before what he lacks is man managment skills. Refs used to have a word in your ear as they went past you, no fuss no bother but you knew you had been told, the game benifitted from this approach. The ref earned respect. The game is about football not individuals, having said that some players need to look at themselves.
  7. As i have said in the past he controls the game using cards instead of common sense. If he would only speak to players I am sure he would be a better Ref, he is very fit and gets up and down the park well so he is on top of the game, it is not a sign of weakness to get through a game card free. It would normally indicate good man management.
  8. Nice touch at the end Aberdeen fans chant there is only one Josh Meekins
  9. Not sure about the pitch it looked perfect for good football wind may have had an a affect, the main spoiler on the day was the ref, normally one of the better ones. The boys done well!!!!!!!!!!! Hope Brill recovers ok always feel secure when he is in goal.
  10. In my experience as you travel up the A9 you leave the pollution of the cental belt behind. everything becomes much clearer, you can see for miles, the air is good so can anyone explain to me why referee's appear to loose their ability to see things happening when they step on to caley park. Yesterday we had a man mountain running round the pitch clattering anything in a blue shirt which was apparent to all but the referee. I have to say this not the first time this has happened which makes me think it must be somthing in the air uphere. having said that we were not at our best yesterday
  11. well stated Mr Bannerman. I believe Shinnie will give his all for the rest of the time he is with us, so enjoy

    Collum

I see Willie Collum has had his knuckles rapped. He has a tendancy to control matches with his cards rather than common sense. A quiet word in an ear should be the starting point of control. He is very fit but doesn't seem to have a feel for the game, and as for the decisions it would appear his positioning is not what it should be. It can be a thankless task having done it myself, not to the level he has attained I might add, a quite word can save a lot of hassle during a game and build up a mutal relationship with the players makes the game better for all.

    3G at TCS?

Need to wait until Tommy is put out to grass !!!!!!!!!!!
  14. beaten at our own game, no complaints. Move on.
  15. I was at the start a critic but like the players I am now a believer, on this occassion its great to be proved wrong.
  16. Not all that important but like to thank someone at the club. Lost my scarf after a game only to find it tied to my seat at the ross co fixture. Whoever it was ta.
  17. Rubbish and ok sums up how I felt the game went. Must speed up the back passes to the keeper, should instruct the waterboy to put the water jets in the goal area allow the ball to swim to the keeper. If our performance requires a well watered pitch we should be brilliant come the rainy season!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
  18. What concerns me is it would appear that we using a system which is keeping the ball in our own half by moving it around quickly but only playing in one half of the pitch. I feel sorry for Billy we really don't need a centre forward. When looking at the goals we scored this season they have all been good individual strikes apart from one. It would appear that hughs tactics stop at the halfway line. We need to start playing football in both halves. Football is a simple game defenders defend midfielders create and forwards score. You can jumble it up a bit but its no good playing great football in your own half it must lead to something and as yet I have not witnessed it. Some great goals but usually individuals skill such as Tansy strikes. Bill should take a seat and a newspaper on to the pitch for all the support he gets. I am not convinced Hughs system is right. as i have already said most of the goals apart from one have been great individual efforts. we need to get back to 11 man football or a team game.
  19. No hats left to eat! Put through it a bit in first half. Good ball retention but not a great threat.second half more constructive in second half killy did not seem to know how to stop us. All in all great day.
  20. If I had another hat I would eat it
  21. I am afraid it tedious.I would have thought Billy would jump at getting away.
  22. I always thought defenders defend apart from overlapping fullbacks midfielders create and forwards score simple game.I fear we are in for horrible season
  23. Hot afternoon good result. Not convinced with the passing game Billy must be fed up of the lone striker role. Time will tell still a good result
