  1. Go here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/inverness-caledonian-thistle and click on each player to get card counts I see Ross Draper is one away from suspension and both Shinnie brothers and OTJ are on 4 yellows. Good to see our crime count is much improved from last season. With due respect, I wouldn't give much credence to a website still listing us as having Brislen-Hall and Blackman!! They were part of our first team squad so therefore part of the stats for this season. Maybe you think our club website must be wrong too??. I made no reference to our club website, Snafu. The linked website is BBC, which is notorious for errors. The club website also lists those two players. Are you questioning the validity of the card count of Draper and the Shinnie brothers as other sites as well as the BBC have the same and if you keep a tab on such details you would know anyway such as Warren's match suspension tomorrow night?.

  4. you got anything to back that up? Before he came to Inverness he had never played at RB... and was Ipswich Under 18's captain at CB? Makes more sense as we had Tokely and Piermayr to fill that position but as we know injuries and suspensions forced changes and I don't think we played with the same back 4 last season most of last season other than once or twice. Meekings did a decent job on the right for a player of his lack of experience, certainly very little difference between himself and the more experienced Austrian.
  5. Swap Lionel for another left back Thierry Gathuessi, although mercifully I only saw him once as an Inverness player, that was enough.
  6. I believe we have potentially good defenders, Shinnie, Meekings, Devine, Taylor and Cooper who might go on to become very good defenders. Warren is a decent defender who is also improving and realising his potential as a full time player at a level above the English Conference. As I mentioned before those defenders will have very little critisism for as long as we continue to win games. I see potential right now rather than the finished article.
  7. I'm not sure how much experience Josh Meekings had in the center of defence before he came here but this season should stand him in good stead and he will have learn't a lot. He's only 20 but his ability to play at both center and on the right brings me to mind on where Rosscoe was at that point in his career with us, Meekings is further along. I think also that people forget that despite having a very settled line up we have a make do defence through this season with two defenders long term injured and also Esson missing first from injury then kept out by the form of Reguero. Had the injury to King not happened we probably have had Warren and King at the back with Meekings up against Raven for the right back slot or cover for the central defence places.
  8. Was worth a try though, saw him a few times at Cowdenbeath and he looked a player that could play at a much higher level and yes even then he had a fondness of going to ground under the lightest of challenges.
  9. Maybe that might change now Swindon have a new board which will in turn bring in new investment. Swindon are a club that have had their financial issue in the past such as the last time they were in the Championship so should really learn from previous mistakes.
  10. Had a wander through the net to find any news on Terry and Swindon and found this insightful piece of journalism and some interesting comments as well in the Swindon Advertiser from the 21st. Terry too old school indeed. http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/swindontown/news/10241173.Former_England_captain_interested_in_Town_job/
  11. A win on Wednesday would all but prevent Dundee Utd from getting ahead of us before the split. Over the last few weeks while our results have not been great but yet none of the other clubs bar County have gone on any kind of run to stake that claim for 2nd, results have been very kind to us, so 2nd place is ours to lose. If we continue to play well and get results like at Tynecastle on Saturday I predict our home match vs County will be the one where we clinch a top 6 place.
  12. Look forward to seeing him back sometime soon. Was starting to look a good player until his injury.
  13. Strange thing is that many are season ticket holders to sit right there. I normally sit in the Main Stand due to getting a better view of the whole pitch and quite a few times I've had someone behind me getting on their case within the first 10 minutes for absolutely no reason and I get irritated which in turn spoils my match experience so I end up moving to another seat. One of the best things though by going to away games is that those supporters are left behind back up the road. I always prefer the away games more not so much for that but our support is so much more vocal and nearly always gets behind the team.
  14. We should be playing our strongest side available. What's the point in resting players when going for 3 points v United is the same as 3 points v County. I hope there isn't a fear factor coming into this where losing to Utd won't matter as much as losing to County since many of us have to face County fans the following day at work?.
  15. Probably the way we are set up with the combination of players which suit Motherwell's style of play, these things happen just as we have the Indian sign over other clubs like County with our style of play. The result yesterday from Dingwall though is a headf**k result. Good to see us back on track and our title challenge still on.
  16. We have now scored more goals this season than in any other SPL campaign. If the likes of Billy McKay continue to score goals we could end up with more goals scored by a team outside the OF since the SPL began, I'm going to keep an eye on this stat. At the moment also we have surpassed all teams goals for column from last season except for the OF and Dundee Utd, 10 more and we will be past Dundee Utd's tally. Fantastic scoring record this season and Billy McKay likely to finish top scorer.
  17. I'll still be watching us trying to defend through my fingers on Wednesday night, thanks for the advice though.
  18. I'll be there and hopefully witness a goalfest thriller win for us on my birthday.
  19. I believe only a team that Terry has in his heart would take him away from us. The question is what could Swindon offer Terry that Barnsley can't ?. I can't see it.
  20. Realistic more like and feet firmly on the ground. Very pleased so far with how our season has gone, but I've only picked out one of our weaknesses which is part of the whole picture, it doesn't mean I have a glass half empty view on how the team has performed this season.
  21. Lack of protection from any defending players regardless of their main role within the team. The fact remains we are poor at the back, only the two Dundee teams are worse right now. We might be getting away with it this season but it is an issue that will have to be addressed during the summer otherwise this season will be a flash in the pan.
  22. Nice little Garry Warren party on here, yes he shows signs of being one of our better defensive signings from Terry and I have been impressed with him, but in my opinion he is also a part of one of the most generous defenses we have ever had in the SPL. For as long as we are are scoring goals at the other end our defensive frailties will mainly be ignored.
  23. and flytipping, farmyard porn and the Bay City Rollers.
  24. Do many County fans visit this site?.
  25. Back to Castle Greyskull then? 3rd and then 2nd Division football for him and recall to the Scotland team under his former manager?. Seems legit.
