  1. Yeah, a striker who scored lots of goals. He's mince. Most teams in the SPL would snap him up if they could. But yes I agree with oats, he is not a team player.
  2. Whats he going to do with them? Their promotion bid has started to derail over the last few weeks, maybe they see Barry as a player who can get them back on track and help take them back up to the Championship. Certainly a good challenge.
  3. And you believed it ? no because he is with boro for till march before his Canadian team starts up again He's been released by Vancouver and 'boro' are just helping him out with his training.
  4. Echo and the Bunnymen - Ice Rink 1983 (my first gig) The Smiths - Eden Court (the second visit from them, had The Chesterfields as support) Stump - Ice Rink Goodbye Mr MacKenzie - Ice Rink Jesse Garon and the Desperados - Ice Rink New York Pig Funkers - Carlton Proclaimers - Ice Rink Hook n' Pull Gang - Tryst Shop Assistants - Eden Court (Could have been the Crows in support) Senseless Things - Hayloft and Railway Club Mega City 4 - Hayloft UK Subs - both Hayloft and Culloden Sedition - Hayloft Waterboys - large tent in the Bught Park Mambo Taxi - Railway Club Man at the Window - Bught Park (free music festival, this is the only band I remember) As for Inverness bands seen the Cateran both at the Ice Rink and the Tryst, A Gentle Sound I can't remember where, The Kettle Brothers at the Ice Rink playing visuals from a tv set at the front of the stage or was this at the Caley Hotel downstairs, Bikini Test twice first up in Tain Balnagowan Hotel as a 6 piece, then Caley Hotel just Louis and Kenny. Make my Day, Stetsonhead, Joyriders probably a few more I've seen. The Boyfriends who had Graham Kemp who went on to John Peel faves Urusei Yatsura a few years later. Rainland somewhere I can't remember. Another band from the early 80's called Lethality Index(?). The Voyeurs were another band seen a couple of times. Seen a few folk artists such as Blazing Fiddles, Old Blind Dogs, Kate Rusby. Any more I can recall I'll come back to this post.
  5. The Guardian would wrong if they had Wilson named. Came across the Sky Sports match live on this game Wilson is not mentioned as a sub. http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/221140/teams TBF if Inverness CT are quite happy there was no infringment then maybe its time to drop it and move on.
  6. Suppose it depends on whether Roy is prepared to personally fund any deal? With the league being so tight, whats to say having a proven scorer like Boyd if he was on form couldnt get a team into the Euro qualification places come end of season. I would think central belt clubs would suit him best, but he has a rep for being a mercenary for money so who knows......... I was reading earlier on as I was looking for tweets or info about him that one of the Portland players Sam Werner had mentioned he was happy the club got rid of Boyd.
  7. It would be good to see him gain more match time, not getting much of a chance with this very settled team. Hopefully he will return and next season continue to push for a starting place.
  8. Not going to happen. Wouldn't suit our style of play and we can't afford his wages anyway. He said the Highlands, not Inverness.....! This is what I meant as well and there is only one other full time club up here and I would doubt they could afford him either. It didn't needed to be said.
  9. If we do I hope that all the players that earned it will still be here next season.
  10. Seems to have a lot of substance to it as well. I reckon it will be part time football from now on for Rossco unless he leaves the Highlands.
  11. Not going to happen. Wouldn't suit our style of play and we can't afford his wages anyway. Its more likely he will be looking at playing for a Championship or top half League 1 side.
  12. Woke up to the fantastic news this morning about Terry deciding to stay. Now we can move on and look forward to the rest of what could be the best season in the history of the club.
  13. Great news, nice wee lift going into the St. Mirren game.
  14. Wouldn't say our name in the post match interview.
  15. Great result today, performance so so. We are unbelievable as an attacking force but still dodgy at the back and especially near the end a bit slack in our play. But this is tremendous, would have never believed we would be 2nd at Christmas, an amazing achievement. :ictscarf:
  16. Derek Adams so bitter http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20567361
  17. BBC have Foran credited with that goal
  18. Great win tonight for Caley Thistle and puts us 2nd in the SPL. 9 goals now for Billy McKay ICT for Europe, can it really happen ?
  19. Disappointed losing that late goal, but very pleased with the overall performance. We certainly have made a lot of progress within the last month and can hold our own against a top 6 side. I think we are heading for our best season ever in the SPL, scoring goals, midfield looks imposing, our defence looks solid and Terry and Mo have two very good keepers to chose from. Two halves to the match yesterday, match came alive after the penalty, dreadful miss by Andy Shinnie. Billy McKay is starting to bang the goals in now he has been given a chance. Warren, Draper and Graeme Shinnie were brilliant yesterday. Unfortunate our one defensive error in the whole match cost us the win. Killie away next Saturday, this time last year we won 6-3 doubt we will see anything like that but hopefully they will tripping on that win yesterday and forget to turn up. But first we have a little matter of a wee 3rd Division team on Wednesday.
  20. Wouldn't miss this one, looking forward to it.
  21. Can't see Terry leaving for a while yet. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/football-specials/ipswich-specials/next-permanent-manager

    Having Faith

We had 14 points from 9 games in our first season back and we started slow that season as well despite hitting Dundee Utd for 4 likewise. Let hope if we parallel that season we this time have the staying power to remain in the top 6 this time as our form will drift at some point and teams below us gain form. I certainly looks like when we are flying and the confidence is up we are sticking the ball in the net, but at some point we will have to grind out results. I think though we have a better standard of player throughout the whole squad than back then.
  23. I don't get it, County let Warren go after the season they struggled at the wrong end of the table and now are clear top and with the second equal best defensive record currently in the Conference. Have you found someone even better for his position?.
