  1. I’ve had another e-mail from Ayr advising of a £5 refund. I’ve not responded pending knowing what others are doing but probably better than we are entitled to given their disclaimer.
  2. Thanks. That’s a good interview by Duffy which also explains his own injury issues this season. Great to have Carson back.
  3. Jordan White scored for County against Rangers yesterday.
  4. Yes, had an e-mail at 1328 from someone called Nick Provan saying they would look into it and get back to me.
  5. The one facing is an AEC Reliance with Alexander body. The other side deck is a Ford with Willowbrook body. I think the double decks are both Albion Lowlanders with Alexander bodies, although some had Northern Counties bodies. They looked quite similar.
  6. A clue: Service 22 followed the old A9….
  7. The club’s report: https://ictfc.com/match-report-ayr-utd-2-2-ictfc-06-11-2021
  8. I agree that when they quietened Gardyne we did seem to be less of a threat but we did have 9 attempts on target. I have just read the BBC live text to remind myself of the efforts. Mckay had an effort well saved just before we scored our first. That was the only save the Ayr ‘keeper made in the first half. In the second half, efforts by Mckay, Gardyne, Mckay again. Gardyne again, Welsh and Mckay again were saved. My recollection is that some of these saves were good. We should have won but could easily have lost so a draw is a fair result. We need to start winning again and to put teams to bed when we are on top.
  9. When did Ross Draper join Elgin? Is he on loan from Cove?
  10. As we all know, Joe Chalmers scored for Ayr today. Scott Boden got another two also for Borehamwood whilst Miles Storey scored for Hereford who got a rare win. In the Highland League, another goal for Harry Hennem for Brora, with Andy MacRae scoring too. In Wales, Dean Ebbe scored for TNS.
  11. That’s extremely harsh. We were good in the first half and, whilst we were not nearly as potent in the second half, the Ayr ‘keeper made several good saves or we would have won it. I enjoyed the game, which was in difficult conditions, with both teams trying to get forward. Gardyne was my pick in the first half, but had a quieter second half, whilst I thought Allardice was good throughout the game. I am very frustrated at losing the PPV stream, so may be seeing the second half performance through rose tinted glasses. Other results have largely suited us today though.
  12. E-mail sent. Will let you know if I get a favourable response.
  13. I lost the livestream a few minutes ago and can’t get back on. Anyone having same issue?
  14. This could go either way. Their ‘keeper has made 3 or 4 good saves to keep us out and Ridgers has just made a decent stop. Duku on for Walsh.
  15. 2-2. It had been coming as we have been second best this half so far. Good pass and shot though.
  16. I agree, we’ve been gone better team and deserve to be ahead, but this game is not win and Ayr have created some chances. We need to maintain our performance for the second half. Killie losing at half time.
  17. Ha ha. The main camera is fine but a big narrow. When they switch to the other one it is poor. Decent game so far. Gardyne has been immense, whilst Welsh and Allardice are dominating the midfield so far. We will have the strong wind behind us in the second half. Interesting that Ayr switched ends after winning the toss to have the wind advantage in the first half.
  18. 2-1 up. Gardyne cross went in as Mckay put ‘keeper off. Come on!!
  19. 1-1 right away. Chalmers knocked it in at a time we had two defenders down in the box.
  20. Camera work not what I would expect for £18! 1 up though! Header by Welsh just after the ‘keeper kept Mckay out with a great save.
  21. Unchanged team and bench: https://mobile.twitter.com/ICTFC/status/1456985843487232007/photo/1 Still no sign of Carson and Sutherland.
  22. Due to my work, I spent many years away from Inverness, including 8 years south of the border. During that time I relied on fleeting highlights of our matches and the occasional live TV game as I could get to very few games. Had livestreams been available, I’d have been buying them all. I think the English FA need to revisit their stance on streams and allow them for leagues like ours. You go anywhere on the continent and English games are on TV regardless of local leagues. On pricing, I take the point that charging the admission price for livestreams but that does penalise concessions. Our season ticket option is very good for those who cannot attend games for whatever reason. Anyway, back to football. Today is an opportunity to get back to winning ways. We have a good record against Ayr but recent games have been tight. Hopefully we find our shooting boots and accuracy today and bring the three points north.
  23. £18 is steep but I will cough up. I think we charge £15 for our games so we are at the higher end of the scale too. I understand why they don’t want to lose out on paying customers, but matching the entrance fee for adults is excessive.
