  1. Half season tickets now available: https://ictfc.com/2021-22-half-season-tickets-on-sale-now
  2. These guys are all amateur commentators doing it as they love football and love the clubs they support. They and the livestreams have been a godsend during the pandemic and it’s great we still have them as many of us otherwise would not see away games. When you get ex pros involved, that adds to it. It’s a great feeling waking up the morning after a 6-1 win and looking at the league table!
  3. Indeed. I may miss the Boxing Day game as on chauffeuring duties after Christmas and trying to time them so I can get to the match….. Report in P&J. Sounds like McAlear’s goal was excellent: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/3740148/revenge-dished-up-by-caley-thistle-as-lethal-win-at-morton-retains-top-spot/
  4. It’s just the second league game I’ve missed (I was at a wedding when we win at Killie) although I also missed the home cup tie against Morton so we need to share the blame for us underperforming until today!!
  5. They were a good pairing on Tuesday too. Very unbiased and good fun.
  6. Kai Kennedy for Dunfermline, Rory McAllister for Cove and Nathan Austin twice for Kelty today.
  7. That’s a great result. We have turned our superiority into goals and killed a team off, and the rest of the league will have noticed it as it is rare to get a convincing result in this league. We’ve now won three in a row in the league and need to keep that run going. If is good that Sutherland got a couple, with McAlear getting his first for the club and Jamieson his first league goal too. They will all have got a boost from that. We did this without Welsh and MacGregor which makes it all the more impressive. I didn’t see the game, but hope it was as good as the result implies, and credit to all who travelled: you deserved that!
  8. BBC saying own goal by Hamilton. Hopefully Doran gets credited with it.
  9. I agree, someone with the guile and skill to create chances and chip in with goals. With Duffy injury prone, back up for the defence is important too, although we have youngsters on loan who are due to return in January who could give cover if they are good enough. We are well covered in midfield and, if Duku can get a goal, up front, so the wide areas and cover for the defence are the priorities in my opinion.
  10. Morton’s home record is dire (5 points from 5 draws in 8 games this season so far, and no home league win since 20 March) which makes our failure on Tuesday even worse. However, our away form is the poorest of the top five. Regardless, we cannot hide behind the facilities, we need to do our talking on the pitch. Like IBM, I can’t watch the livestream tomorrow so will be keeping an eye on the BBC Sport app and this site. Enjoy the trip Lizi: hope your rattle inspires the guys to put in a great performance!
  11. Here we go again... Time to bounce back with a win and boost morale and confidence that we can put a decent run together. Welsh will be missing and Doran is a doubt, so our squad is getting stretched. Time to see what McDonald can do, with MacGregor slotting in beside Allardice? The club’s preview: https://ictfc.com/match-preview-morton-a-11-12-2021
  12. Hope I don’t regret this! ICT at 2.00 please.
  13. It doesn’t feel good being out of the cup before Christmas, and we need to get a grip and starting to make and take chances when on top on games. We may be top of the league, but that is more through good luck than anything, and we will start to slip down it if we don’t get a grip soon. With Killie playing Raith and Partick playing Arbroath, a win on Saturday is a must to start stretching things a bit at the top, as at least two of our rivals will drop points. The club has published their report on last night’s game: https://ictfc.com/match-report-morton-1-1-ictfc-07-12-2021
  14. That’s three times we’ve lost out on penalties this season. Why were guys like Carson or Walsh not stepping forward? I was happy Sutherland didn’t given his recent record. Now we need to focus on the league and be aiming for first place or, at the very least, second. Morton are no great shakes so we need to put things right on Saturday.
  15. Devine’s penalty saved. Lost 5-4 on penalties. In fairness, it was not a bad effort but I’d have thought others would be ahead of him in the queue to take them. Up until then, good kicks by Doran, McAlear, Allardice and Jamieson. Just the league to focus on now after messing up three cups!
  16. Penalties. I don’t think either team deserved to win.
  17. No and Morton looking the more likely to score at the moment.
  18. Jamieson on for Mckay. Probably Mckay’s quietest game this season. My prediction skills are not a patch on Snorbens! Straight to penalties if there is no winning goal in the next 17 minutes.
  19. Much better so far this half. Walsh has forced the ‘keeper into a decent save. Mckay has been quiet: cue a winner from him??? McAlear on for MacGregor who has been quiet since being moved into the middle.
  20. 1-1. Doran free kick. Not clear if it went straight in or got a touch. Possible og but BBC giving it to Devine. Hard to tell. Game on!
  21. Pretty flat game. Morton started better then we grew into it and had a few chances. Bad goal to lose after giving away possession softly, but well played by Morton once they had the ball. We could have been 2 down just before the break but for a great save by Ridgers. Sutherland has been the pick for us in the first half, with Doran quite prominent but the rest very quiet. We need a much better second half display or our cup run is over before it has even started. That said, Saturday is more important but we all like a cup run!
  22. Morton 1 up. Good finish after slack play in midfield by us.
  23. Welsh off injured. Went down after turning when off the ball. Replaced by Walsh.
