  1. Kai Kennedy has scored for Raith against Dundee and Tom Walsh has scored for Ayr against Alloa.
  2. Yes, as things stand we have two rescheduled and two that need dates. The last round of fixtures is on 30 April, so still plenty midweeks, although the cup may impact on that. We need to get into a good run of form though. Arbroath away on Wednesday then Dundee away next Saturday, so a tough week ahead (weather and Covid permitting).
  3. OK, just trying to be helpful! Disappointing to have yet another Saturday game off. This must be our worst season for postponements in recent years. Someone mentioned summer football recently and it does seem a good idea and worth considering again. Being able to go to a game on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon could attract fans back and even new fans. Sadly I can’t see it happening in Scotland, although I think the Republic of Ireland does it so it could be made to work and tie in with European club competitions and international commitments, as the whole football set up in the country would presumably need to have the same season.
  4. Indeed. It’s stopped now but is likely to freeze and whilst tomorrow looks ok, at 0900 for the inspection the odds are against us.
  5. The cup and lower league suspension has been extended for two weeks until at least midnight on 14 February. It is to be reviewed earlier that week.
  6. I’m a season ticket holder but would be happy to join the initiative if it helps. PPV is £10, so a slight increase on that if it gives virtual access to players through the Man of the Match award etc seems sensible. In terms of tokens to watch the game, season ticket holders already have access, so perhaps their tokens could be donated by the club to encourage young fans in some way.
  7. A couple of positive new initiatives by the club. Hope businesses support the sponsorship opportunity. £400 sounds a good deal. https://ictfc.com/virtual-opportunities-at-ictfc
  8. There is a pitch inspection at 0900 tomorrow morning.
  9. Any word on Storey? Using his pace wide could help us. Listening to Robbo, I thought he was a bit hard on Sutherland, and I wonder who he was aiming at with his comments about those subbed and those only on the bench. We’ve not seen much of Keatings recently so not sure if he has a knock. For tomorrow, if we are still without Storey, Mckay, Toshney and McHattie, I’d go with: Ridgers Duffy Devine Deas Harper Carson Allardice Mackay MacGregor Doran Sutherland If Storey is fit, I’d start him in place of Doran.
  10. Why not, I like watching us win! Hopefully we turn Hearts over too!!
  11. Think back a week or two to Robbo’s comments about how the pandemic is affecting him personally and how he feels for the players, many of whom have not seen their families for months. Everyone on here showed support then, and we need to maintain that support, however the season turns out. We should have seen last night out and won, but our away form is poor this season, with 4 points out of 15, and we don’t seem able to keep our momentum for the full 90 minutes. We had a good first half, so if we can find a way of maintaining that level of performance for full games we will not be too far away. However, the challenge is achieving that. The next week or two will make or break our season. If we can put a run together, we will be back in touch as all the other teams are also dropping points. Roll on Saturday! Hopefully the pitch is covered, they have sorted the patch that caused the problem last Saturday, and we get a morale boosting win.
  12. Our home game with Hearts has been moved to Friday 26 February with a 1945 kick off and will be live on BBC Scotland. As our best performance this season was the TV game away to Queen if the South, hopefully we get a repeat!
  13. I noticed he was not in the Motherwell squad last night.
  14. That sums our season up. Ahead, playing well, opposition goes down to 10. And we can’t win. Good game overall, but we under performed badly again in the second half. Yes, the pitch was poor and we have not played for a month, but that game was there for the taking.
  15. Oh Toddy: how did he not get a touch and put it in?
  16. Hate to say it, but I can see us losing this.
  17. Keatings and Toddy on for Doran and Allardice.
  18. That equaliser had been coming. We need to get a grip! Credit Morton. Good play. We just can’t keep the ball or do anything good with it this half.
  19. Morton shading the second half so far. We need to make 11 v 10 count.
  20. Could have been a penalty for us for handball there. Now it’s raining the pitch will get worse. Large parts are quite sticky already.
  21. Decent half of football with both teams trying to play football. Our quick equaliser was very important as Morton started very quickly. This game is not won, despite them being down to 10. We need to play the whole game tonight. Vincent’s performance has been a pleasant surprise and good to see Sutherland playing centre forward. MacKay’s goal the pick of the action so far.
  22. Morton goal disallowed for push by player before he headed it in. Nice to see the odd decision going our way!
  23. My immediate reaction was “that’s a booking”. Agree the commentators took it well. We need to continue playing and not let this slip.
