  1. Carson! 1-0!’ Great ball by Allardice. Carson cut inside and finished very well.
  2. Great Welsh free kick saved in top corner. Penalty claim for hand ball turned down. We’ve switched Mackay and MacGregor since Toddy went off.
  3. Carson booked. Very harsh. He didn’t retreat fast enough after a soft foul was awarded against him. McCann booked for his protests.
  4. Another good save by Ridgers. Two of our players left it for each other creating the chance. All of a sudden we are struggling to keep the ball.
  5. Decent save by Ridgers. Dunfermline have got back in this after us starting the half very well.
  6. Toddy getting treatment. Replaced by Storey.
  7. Another Mackay effort saved. He headed it but a shot may have been on and more effective.
  8. Just over from Toddy with Fon Williams beaten. It followed neat build up. We’ve started this half well but need a goal.
  9. MacGregor very close with a 20 yard effort. Again set up by Deas.
  10. Another chance of Mackay after Deas pinched the ball and played it forward. After a good run, he got the shot all wrong.
  11. After a slow start, we grew into the first half. We’ve probably had the best chances and have coped reasonably well with Dunfermline so a draw fair at this stage. As Satan has said, we need to be sharper but at least we are competing and making chances. Welsh has had a couple of efforts from distance as well as the efforts by Mackay and MacGregor. I hope we don’t rue the missed chances by full time.
  12. Dunfermline goal disallowed for offside after they cut us open. Then immediately a chance for MacGregor but he couldn’t get power on the shot. Pretty open and even just now.
  13. We’ve just had the closest effort. Shot after a corner blocked on the line.
  14. Dunfermline on top in the early stages. We are struggling to clear our lines but have broken out a couple of times.
  15. In our home kit today. Dunfermline have 22 points out of 27 at home so this will be a tough afternoon I fear.
  16. Unchanged team again, but Keatings injury keeping him from being on the bench.
  17. I just hope that fans of both clubs stay at home on Sunday. Surely after recent events, and what seems to be a resulting increase in cases, the game should have been called off and a draw awarded. I anticipate us seeing news coverage on Sunday of fans of both clubs at Celtic Park and Ibrox respectively, and in the centre of Glasgow, with the resulting likelihood of violence.
  18. Not watching it but I see Dundee are now 2 up. It is very unlikely Alloa will catch us. I’m more keen to see Arbroath not getting too many points, and we have them up here next weekend. If we can get a result tomorrow, we can be optimistic. Even if we don’t win, with the inconsistency of all the teams, we can still make progress. I’m in the optimistic category!
  19. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 ICT Todorov Dunfermline Wighton
  20. Last night’s “leak”, the publication of the Committee Report at 0800 on Tuesday and with the report expected from James Hamilton QC next week too regarding whether the FM broke the Ministerial Code, the next week or so is going to be interesting.
  21. I was only voicing my opinion on it, not implying anything about any opinion of it you have.
  22. That’s fair enough. It will not interfere with the preparations for Tuesday’s game as the players will be on a day off.
  23. Decent highlights package, but didn’t really demonstrate just how much on top we were in the first half, although it makes the second seem more even than I recall! Credit Ridgers for the goal. He clearly saw Mackay would be one on one with the defender and wasted no time getting it upfield, and Mackay duly obliged with the cool finish.
