  1. Ha ha. Justice done a few minutes later. This is a really enjoyable game. Hope we hold on, but greatly encouraging for the weeks ahead.
  2. 2-2. Keatings from the spot. Soft award but makes up for the other one!!
  3. He’d no chance so not to blame in my opinion. We’ve just had a penalty shout turned down that VAR would have given down south for handball.
  4. Not sure. They’ve several angles and replays. Possibly operated by people not machines? They’ve just said it’s not a pixelated system. Unfortunately we’ve just shed an own goal. Ball played in at pace. Think it hit Devine who had no chance. We’d been on top until then this half.
  5. Glad I have paid £9.99 for this. A good feed and a very decent first half with both teams trying to play good football. Devine got caught out for the goal, but has had a couple of tackles that may have saved goals. He got booked after Mckay went down off the ball and Raith had a dangerous chance. Doran “took one for the team” when he got booked as it stopped a dangerous break. Our goal was good, with a great ball from Kennedy after a quick break which was well finished by Sutherland. I didn’t think it was a penalty as I’m sure Duffy got the ball not the man, but it was a diabolical spot kick so no harm done. Vincent was doing well until he got his knock. Hopefully taken off as a precaution. Mckay had no-one near him as Raith counter attacked so maybe twisted something. He was struggling before the injury against the fast attack. Ridgers has had a few saves but we’ve also had a few chances and looked good and fast on the break. Kennedy has been the pick if the first half for me. A few beers in front of the log burner and a decent game being fed to my tv. All we need now is a win!!
  6. HT 1-1 FT 2-3 Raith Matthews ICT Sutherland
  7. Sounds quite a game but sadly he lost 6-5 after extra time. He came on as a sub in the 4th minute of stoppage time in normal time but if the BBC report is right, there were 20 minutes of stoppage time! I see Chorley beat Wigan in a local derby. A poster on here would be happy about that outcome.
  8. I’m sure I read somewhere that clubs could opt out of participating this season, in which case there ought to be no implications, although they may lose players to other clubs.
  9. Forres have pulled out of this season’s competition due to safety concerns surrounding the virus.
  10. And as Caley Mad in Berks has reported on the scorers thread, he scored the fourth Marine penalty as they won the shoot out. Nice one David!
  11. Raven playing centre half? They have taken a league team to extra time so maybe another cup story looming for him?
  12. Next league game is against Raith. They are 5 up against Morton and top of the league as it stands, so hopefully we get players fit over the next two weeks in the cup games and are ready to make a move up the table when the league resumes.
  13. 4-1 up against Leeds: maybe you should have forked out today!
  14. Didn’t know that, are you sure as it’s not what appears on the link on the club’s site. which links to this page of the Hearts site: https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/news/article/hearts-v-ict-available-on-ppv
  15. 300 people socially distanced in a stadium with strict protocols is a lot safer than mixing in pubs and other indoor spaces.
  16. Stuart Armstrong scores for Southampton tonight as they moved to the top of the English Premiership, at least until Sunday.
  17. I’ve not forgiven Boyce for 10 goals against us in our relegation season so hopefully we get a slight payback tomorrow with a surprise win. That said, I’m not feeling confident enough to predict that! HT 1-0 FT 3-1 Hearts Boyce ICT Todorov
  18. Remember the club makes a loss, and can only pay out from the revenue taken in. With no walk up cans, the only income is from season tickets and anyone who buys a PPV live stream so all outgoings make our financial position worse. That said, they see even a limited crowd being allowed in as a positive step which should help the players on match days.
  19. The Highland League is starting on 28 November and they hope fans will be allowed. If they publish fixtures soon and season ticket prices are reasonable, it may be an option if the likes of Clach or Nairn home dates don’t clash much with our home games.

  21. At the moment with no fans we will not have any steward costs.
  22. If it is 300, the club will be out of pocket with stewarding costs, but it will give the players a tremendous lift having fans in, so in that respect it is more than worth it. The CEO said as much in the recent interview (P&J?). I just hope we are not in a Scotland-wide lockdown by the time of our next home game. Hopefully the furlough scheme being extended means the Government don’t feel they need to act everywhere now and can act appropriately based on what happens in each Council area.
  23. Just seen on the BBC Scottish news that Ross County have permission to have 300 fans attend their game this weekend. Hopefully we are allowed fans in for our next home game.
