  1. From a BBC article which has confirmed Kelltewell is staying at County but John Robertson has left: “Five out of contract players have been offered new deals but experienced campaigners Ross Laidlaw, Alex Iacovitti, Jordan White, Jay Henderson, Declan Gallagher and Uche Ikpeazu will depart, as well as eight players who were on loan, including goalkeeper Trevor Carson.”
  2. Well said bc, I’m sure we all echo that, and are grateful for all the unseen effort that goes into the previews, reports, stats etc.
  3. What a day. I was surprisingly relaxed in the build up as County failing to sneak into the play off place removed the risk that we could face them in the play off final, clearing the way for us to avoid that distraction and focus on getting the result. Bar 94 was amazing pre-match. It was bouncing from the time it opened and credit to the fans going through their repertoire of songs. To the game itself, and we came out clearly on a mission. The early goal calmed any remaining nerves, and was clearly a training ground move. The second was as good after great work by Robertson and, as someone has said, how fitting that Mckay and Devine were our scorers. I hope Devine’s injury is not serious. That first half was probably the best we have played in 2026. Hamilton had more of the ball in the second half but didn’t trouble us until their late goal. The late penalty could have made for an anxious ending, but was well saved by Munro. We then had the delay due to the premature pitch invasion, then a few minutes play before the full time whistle confirmed we were Champions. Well done to all the management team and players: the have achieved what was asked of them. The crowd was amazing and I just hope many of the 2000+ extra fans come back when the new season starts. Then the party really started with the presentation and then the raucous bar. What a difference from May 2024! What a day: one for the memory bank! Roll on next season.
  4. That was Bar 94 pre-match. What a party post-match! Alfie leading the singing!
  5. I know! When I made the post they were 9th. I just didn’t want the risk of a distraction of a potential Derby should we fail to win the league tomorrow. Now our players have the added incentive of leapfrogging them!
  6. I’m sure most of us feel like that! Today I’m just hoping that County don’t finish 9th after tonight’s games.
  7. It has to operate at 1800 as it’s a registered local bus service.
  8. The matchday bus service leaves the Stadium at 1800 so you’ll make your connection fine as it’s always in town by 1810/1815. To get to the Stadium, buses leave the Bus Station at 1245 and 1415. You’ll have no issues on the bus service. The driver is even a season ticket holder. If you get the earlier one, Bar 94 is always welcoming too. If you do decide to travel, enjoy your day.
  9. It’s all come down to Saturday now! Avoid defeat and we win the league. The positive about that is that we are unbeaten in 17 league games. I’ve looked back to where we were before we lost those two games around Christmas. On 16 December we’d 33 points from 16 games, so with the deduction we took 38 points out of a possible 48. Since then, we’ve played 19 games and taken another 33 points to get us to our current total of 66. That’s 33 points out of a possible 57. As I say, we are not losing league games, which is the positive going into Saturday, but we’ve just not been winning enough. A day for calm heads, on and off the pitch. We never do things the easy way, but let’s do it!
  10. We never make it easy for ourselves do we?
  11. Family circumstances mean I won’t be amongst the 750 travelling fans today, but what an achievement that is for us to be taking that number. Have a great day out and roar the team on to the title! Let’s avoid a last day nerve shredder and make next Saturday a party day
  12. I respect East Fife not wanting to move the seats of their season ticket holders or change hospitality arrangements. I also agree that selling unused seats in the home areas to our fans is not a good idea. This is a high stakes match. We could win the league, or see the title go to the last day. They could almost secure safety or find themselves in the relegation play off place. Either way, feelings could be running high, increasing the risk of incidents happening. When we were in the top league, I remember how annoying it was finding Celtic and Rangers fans close to my seat. Let’s just enjoy the day and the experience!
  13. The club posts monthly updates about appearances, goals etc on their Facebook page.
  14. Kelty won the toss and hoped the wind advantage would help them in the first half: it didn’t. Second half we deservedly overcame them to win. Job done. We move on.
  15. Clearly other pro players see how big his contribution is whereas we often just see the odd bad pass etc. We certainly missed him when he was out injured recently.
  16. Danny Devine, Remi Savage and Alfie Stewart are in the PFA Scotland League 1 Team of the Year, voted for by players. Stenny also had 3 players, Alloa 2 and Hamilton, Peterhead and Queens had 1 each. Well done to them.
  17. I thought Mark Reynolds made some good observations on Alba. Two that stood out for me were that he praised Devine for his leadership and calmness, and also Zimba for often capturing the ball when it was played up to him, being a menace and, as a result, creating space for others. Good to see often unseen efforts getting credit.
  18. Right tactics. Right attitude. Right result. And a good performance. Well done all!
  19. Whisper it: soft free kick 😂😂 But what a strike. Let’s kick on now!
  20. until

Largely depends what your budget is and how you are travelling. Further east there are nice coastal towns such as Anstruther and Crail, whilst St Andrews is very nice but probably pricey. I don’t know what accommodation may be like in Levenmouth (the area East Fife are based in) whilst Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy are close by. They don’t have much going for them though! Transport links are pretty good with trains now serving Levenmouth whilst there are fast coach connections between the towns too, operated by Stagecoach. Enjoy your visit!
  21. I’ve only managed to watch it now. That penalty decision was a shocker and we may come to rue the loss of two points last night, but that’s football! However, let’s put it behind us and go again on Tuesday. Win that and we are top. It’s still in our own hands, let’s grab the opportunity!
  22. A massive game. TV, probably delayed for me until we get a 6 year old having a sleepover off to bed, as I doubt I can keep him interested in it live. One we really can’t afford to lose. Although I expect both teams to drop points in the run in, we don’t want to make it any harder to secure top spot so I’m really hoping we get the win.
  23. Tongue in cheek, where on earth are you 😂😂?? My grass is soaking and will take time to recover from last night’s snow as I cut it on Thursday, which now seems a big mistake. The squad needs to put today behind them and focus on five more cup finals in the league. It is also a message that, whilst we saw off Partick and Ayr, we’ve a way to go if we do go up.
  24. Our defensive record has been pretty good all season but today we’ve gifted three goals from very slack play and thats reflected in the score. My worry is what it does to confidence for the league run in. Hopefully it’s been a good day out for our support despite the scoreline.
