  1. Three for Shane Sutherland for Brora tonight.
  2. He played for Forres as a trialist on Saturday.
  3. That’s a pain. I was taking my oldest grandson given the schools are off as I’m trying to get him interested in attending matches. He lives in Nairn so this was an ideal chance.
  4. Also Sam Pearson for Weston Super Mare in the National League South. I’m not sure when he moved there from Yeovil but it’s his fifth league goal for them (according to Wikipedia).
  5. Scoring for their own teams were Ryan Christie for Bournemouth, Liam Polworth for Kilmarnock, Jay Henderson and George Oakley for Ayr, Nathan Shaw for Morton, Sean Welsh for Queens Park and Shane Sutherland for Brora.
  6. Rescheduled for 1945 on Tuesday 11 March.
  7. Bar 94 at the ground is open from 1100 and will probably be quite busy from around 1200 so it would be worth going there. If not driving, the beer is good. There’s a lot to see around Inverness. It depends what you are in to: most tourists go to Loch Ness but there are also interesting places like Fort George and Culloden Battlefield with a lot of history.
  8. Cove Rangers @ 1.85 please.
  9. HT 1-0 FT 2-1 ICT Bavidge Stenhousemuir O’Donnell Crowd 1768
  10. Disappointing but I believe we will win more than we will draw or lose between now and the end of the season and can still get above Annan and Montrose. This is a quote from Scott Kellacher’s pre-match interview which I think is spot on and hopefully today spurs us on to win next week: “What the group of players have done to get us to where we are right now has been incredible. From now until the end of the season, there may be a set back here or there, we understand that. I think you can see with the setbacks we’ve had, we’ve lost 1 out of the last 5 games and that set back pushed the boys on. There’s a good resilience about them, if we lose a game, they want to get right back on it at training and go again.”
  11. Scorers today were Logan Chalmers for Partick, Ross Draper for Elgin, Cillian Sheridan for Brechin and both Andrew MacAskill and Aaron Nicolson for Buckie.
  12. The match highlights are on YouTube if the DVD is not available on line. It may not contain everything on the DVD but it will bring back memories of great days.
  13. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 ICT Bavidge Arbroath Winter Crowd 1324
  14. Reilly was only on loan until January and we couldn’t extend it as he is over 20.
  15. Morton have released Kirk Broadfoot and Austin Samuels, Dunfermline have signed Jeremiah Chilikoa-Mullen, whilst Lewis Jamieson has joined Sacramento Republic.
  16. It’s good to see Ferguson junior land a team. Hopefully without the pressure of being with a team managed by his father lets him find his way in life and the game.
  17. Noted yesterday were Marley Watkins for Kilmarnock, Jordan Roberts (2) for Stevenage, Logan Chalmers for Patrick, Nathan Shaw for Morton, Iain Vigurs for Banks O’Dee and Brad Mckay (2) for Brechin.
  18. I agree entirely. I thought the ref was losing it with the flurry of bookings just before the half hour and then he bottled what should have been a sending off. The Queens Manager clearly thought the same as he promptly hooked the player involved when we scored. It was a brilliant goal, created by some good play and well taken by Bavidge. We handled their physicality well and were deserved winners. Stewart had a brilliant effort well saved whilst we’d a couple of other chances where if we’d hit the ball hard we’d have scored. 8 wins in 11 is quite an achievement but we’ve another tough one at Arbroath next weekend. We were 8th at half time albeit we remain 9th with Annan winning, but we are right in the mix. Who’d have thought this was possible a few months ago. Onwards and upwards!
  19. Longstaff back with Mckay on bench.
  20. Reece McAlear for Livingston tonight.
  21. Edinburgh City @ 2.1 please.
  22. HT 1-0 FT 2-1 ICT Bavidge QoS Brooks Crowd 1870
  23. Aaron Nicolson for Buckie in the Aberdeenshire Cup last night.
  24. I’m working on the basis that when the Administrator has something significant to update fans on then there will be a statement. Until that happens, we know the Administrator will be working hard to take things forward. The meeting between the Administrator and Morrison was to take place in January, so has probably happened. It may well be that further discussions are taking place between them. Unfortunately we really have no option but to trust the process and wait for an update. Meantime we at least have entertaining football in the pitch to enjoy. Roll on Saturday!
  25. Queen of the South may have the best home record in League 1 but they have the worst away one: 3 draws and 7 defeats in 10 games. We need to make sure that run continues.
