  1. Juanjo was a cracking player for us until his injury but forgive my cynicism. Ict and CB are making the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season 1 win this year against the mighty Gretna Russell Duncans protracted contract negotiations Barry Wilson being farmed out Dennis Wyness contract probs blackies bust up? If it hadn't been for Gr?tna we would have been in a serious relegation battle fans turning against Brew I can't help thinking that CB has signed up with PR guru Max Clifford and he is using this to appease the fans and deflect from what seems to be deep rooted problems in the club just now :007:
  2. I agree - it's a sad reflection on the times that a minutes silence is rarely adhered to and spoiled by a minority, however I think the minutes applause is how they've done it abroad for quite a few years and I think it's applause in celebration of someone's life which I've always thought thought was quite a good idea, Celebrate the memory

Caledonia by frankie miller The title says it all B-)
  4. Never mind the numbers in large print Get them to put targets on them instead
  5. wilson scored 6.0, 6.0,6.0,6.0, and that was from the olympic diving team coaches if he'd stayed on his feet he was through, if barrys honest he has taken one or few during the years
  6. is it by cheeting that you win your games
  7. should that be barstewards :023: :023: :rotflmao:
  8. I will not wave to the fans, I will not wave to the fans :007: :007: :007: :007: :007: :007: :007: :007: you had to be there
  9. I too must agree, Ian Black was excellent last night despite one or two heavy challenges on him, he got up dusted himself off and made arbroath pay for what they had done to him - my MOTM by a long way even taking into account our our very own romanian/scot Marius Mcniculae
  10. The same can be said for Denzil who never fails to score against lower leaue opposition, but has yet to come up with the goods in the SPL. Must admit - I would dispute that - when Dargo went on his run in the SPL of scoring in 8 games in a row, didn't denzil also score in about 6 in a row against SPL competition. Wasn't denzil the one who scored for us against celtic when we beat o neills mob up here in the cup Without the injuries he's had and given a run in the team I think he would become the dennis of old - a wee shuffle and the ball resting in the opposition net remember it's easy for us armchair critics to do just that - support is what gives players confidence and confidence plays a huge part in sport
  11. will be in dublin then - prob having quite a few pints of guinness :drinking08: should be good though, hope theres a good turn out and lots of the ex players as well, mike noble, jimmy calder etc and i hope charlie gets a special welcome, he will always be a an ict - caledonian - inverness thistle legend :021:
  12. morning lg i totally agree that he is allowed time off, maybe approachable was the wrong word and i for one would never grudge anyone having that from the humble street cleaner to a top brain surgeon, we all need time to de - stress against that i would say that someone who puts their name into a public domain and then expects anonymyty sp? must surely be kidding himself, like many here i was at our very first game when we beat arbroath 5 - 2 and herchy scored a hat trick and goodness knows how many hundred since. maybe my memory is playing tricks but until fairly recently over all these years i don't remember too many chairmans columns in the programme, i think djs might have been the first, but apologies if i'm wrong. but to put your views across in a programme and not entitle others to have theirs to me personally seems a bit off handed. when a very wealthy individual(no names mentioned) can take less well off punters hard earned cash week in week out and not expect some reproach, that's not the real world thats fairyland. i am personally happy sitting at games but there must surely be some avenue somewhere that can allow some people to stand, i think in most of the major incidents over the years crowd control(hillsborough) dilapidated stadia(ibrox) were the reasons for disasters, don't ever recall 100 people tripping en masse and causing such a problem, i think the greater risk would be jumping out of your seats when a goal is scored etc, tripping over and landing badly causing injury etc these are obviously my own personal views and at no time have i meant to be disrespectful to anyone at the club as like most others i am 100% behind ICT but these issues keep going round and round and never get resolved, i know you and the others in the trust do a good job but this is still a fledgling club with lots of growing up to do and with being so relatively young yet, it gives us all, chairman, fans etc the chance to get it right and create an environment and a model to be the envy of many clubs in scotland. while working down south recently with a dundee season ticket holder, he was quite envious when i said that i'd been to our first ever league game, and pretty impressed at how far we'd come, i was real chuffed/proud when he came out with that but lets not rest on our laurels and keep going forward, throwing fans out of the stadium for standing etc is not the way forward they are tomorrows lifeblood when we are all old/older wrinkly/wrinklier therefore lets sort these probs out when we still can
  13. well said :021: i sat not far from you in section a on that fateful day if bald head and beer belly means mature , i guess i've finally grown up :019:
  14. The East Fife Goal :clapping03: thanks tws but i cant get it to play, i just get a black screen :007:
  15. From what I saw from the north stand, the authorities should not be involved. Our "singing section" need to get a reality check. If you are told to sit down, sit down. This does not mean stand up and make your club an object of ridicule. Ridicule why? Are supporters not allowed to sing, cheer and encourage their team , do we not stand and sing at the scotland games at hampden, rugby games at murrayfield without recourse would you prefer to sit with pj's, cocoa and slippers for a quiet night, maybe ballet at eden court would be more appropriate :023: :001:
  16. Scotty , I'm glad Mr Savage has the decency to respond to you, i have written to him previously without even the decency of a response of any kind, i once wrote to him about issues with an 11year old boy after the last problem with the singing section who was frightened to even jump up if ict scored because of the fear he might get thrown out. I have also seen the afore mentioned 'Gentleman' in the pub along the road several times with grassa etc and for want of other words 'approachable' would not in my humble opinion be the best adjective. Re this issue about standing again, Isn't the cis cup played under the rules of the sfa as opposed to the spl arbroath and many other teams in this competition have no all seated criteria therefore if its safe for us to stand in these grounds, is it not also safe for us to stand in our own ground, when sir elton played in front of 13,000? we were encouraged to stand, sing, dance etc with1250 there tonight was that deemed to be a much greater risk, I was in the north stand as usual and had nothing but praise for this section for trying to put some atmosphere into a ground which sometimes has less of it than the moon if it wasn't for them the biggest noise tonight would have been the crisps opening at half time they need all the support they can get if we are ever going to have adecent vibe at the ground, the clach pre season game at grant st made more noise than many at tcs and there was only a handful of ferry boys there - mind that maybe says something about the merkinch crew :015: P's. does anyone know how east fife got on today
  17. These issues with the stewarding seem to keep repeating time and again, I would like to think that DJS,LG or any other members of the supporters trust watching could maybe get in touch with the people who are making these allegations and bring it up with the club itself it pertains to be a family club and if these allegations are true, would you treat a member of your own family this way. Let's get it sorted once and for all
  18. contact savage - that's a joke - he never replies and even people in the club will tell you that couldn't really see what was going on but it's about time the stewarding issues were sorted out as there always appears to be some prob or another, if a 13yr old was being pushed about by stewards, I would go way above the stewards and club, and file for common assault with the police
  19. :015: :015: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  20. Lots to do yet, Niculae looked good tonight, cracking swerving shots a couple of times, it was the swerve that beat their goalie for the third. Watt strolled through the game and distributed the ball in a way that granty never does - no left foot hoof up the park which always seems to go to the opposition rory coming on why? failed to impress again still not convinced though as we were playing the team that is only two points above elgin in the third division and they are seven points behind the mighty east stirling anyway good to see marius score, good to win lets hope its now onwards and upwards :021:

He's a fit guy though while walking the dog I saw RH running down the hill from Culloden, past Tesco and carrying on past Raigmore hospital, he was going at a fair rate of knots, he was wearing the yellow training kit with the sponsors logo on, fully expected some of the other lads to come after him but no such luck, either he was way in front or way behind :001:
  22. Curse :rotflmao: no such thing Do you have a horse and caravan or maybe ***** ringlets in your ears :023: :001:
  23. I remember sitting in the North stand when we played ynited the first time after CB left. Rosco managed a sneaky jab into the ribs of CB :015: He was not best pleased do you think he's forgotten or is he man enough to accept it and treat Tokes fairly :024: Rosco :021: Brewster :020:
  24. ALL THE BEST CHARLIE That sums it up for me and I would suspect most of the ICT fans, I hope that whatever your future path may be that you get the respect and rewards that you deserve. :021: :021: :021: :021: :021: :021: :021: :021:
  25. Maybe the stewards and police were having a cup of tea then and never saw anyone? :023: :023: :023: :023:
