Many thanks KoB for pointing out this error. I don't quite know what has happened here. The spreadsheet had given you 8 points but for whatever reason only 3 were added to the final table. As a result of this error the results for the final game have been completley revised and re-issued. The table above now reflects all changes. It would appear than some have now 'lost' points. Just as well it hasn't affected the final championship standing. Apologies to all those affected. I could blame a very slow IT connection (working from a hotel room in Watford on a 3G card) but it is more likely to have been 'user error' on my part. I knew I should have waited until this weekend to finalise this season's NPL. Still, all done now....phew! Thanks again all. Gringo

I think we're snookered either way...we haven't got the strikers to support a long ball game and we haven't got the pace of wingers etc to play it on the deck. We have no creative players in the squad either so, unless things happen in the close season, I really think we will struggle to score goals again next season.

News and Update That?s it then, we are down and out. The defeat of all defeats see?s us relegated to Div 1 next season. But lets look on the bright side ? at least the Crowd Section of next season?s NPL will be easier to predict, maybe!! There were no max?s in the Correct Score section again this week. Zadi was a late debutant to the NPL ? see you next season. Ten punters grabbed a two points bonus for the Yellow card but, apart from that, little joy was had today. It does give me great pleasure, however, to crown KENCAR as the 2008/2009 NPL Champion. It was one of the closest run NPL?s of all time and one I have enjoyed running. Had a great start and then faded, regained form again and then quietly blended into insignificance...got screwed on a few late goals which could have put in the prize money. Good game...good game. I wasn't very over excited when TB and MM were appointed and thought we could have done a lot better. However, he has steadied the ship and appears to have instilled some confidence in the boys. We've had some great results and some very poor results so I have mixed feelings at the moment. To be fair to TB he didn't have a lot of time to sort out his squad and assess who he needed before the transfer window closed in January but, hopefully he'll have all Summer to organise our assault up the SPL table. 7/10 for effort.

Never have liked Drogba. That ref' tonight was a right eejit though, and we thought SPL refs were bad. I can understand Chelsea's grievences about some decissions, they were awful. Anyway, Barca' v Man U will make for a better final in my opinion.

Orange is one of the worst down our neck of the woods. Also heard bad reports about AOL and Tiscali. Techno Gringo is with O2 and hasn't mentioned any problems. Not sure if he has a download limit mind...I doubt it though knowing what he's like!!

This is where the assistant should assist. For Fletcher to have no appeal is beyond belief. I feel for the guy, he didn't do anything wrong, he played the ball.

Been with BT since we had one of these contraptions. Never had any aggro. Probably more expensive than other providers but I suppose you have to pay for quality these days.

I just hope both matches are better than last weeks dreadful affairs! If Man U score then I can't see Arsenal getting to the final. It would be intersting to see what would happen if Arsenal get an early goal. They are capable of tuning it on and have beaten Man U at home already this season. As for the Chelsea tie I think Barca' will have the edge and will be full of confidence after their distruction of Real Madrid.
