  1. He wont own it when I've bought him out. Maybe I'll just keep it as a site of special scientific interest. You will need a few rollover weeks on the Euro millions for that Alex Not going to buy his business (its no worth much in the present climate anyway) just his ICT interests
  2. Dont think so. Nine goals and no clean sheets at home this season
  3. when was the last time we scored at home
  4. He wont own it when I've bought him out. Maybe I'll just keep it as a site of special scientific interest.
  5. A couple of weeks time we face a hard cup game..................................at home................got to get something sorted before then.
  6. The club would not have had any say in what the police do. Northerns finest took precautionary action believing, from information gleaned on this site, that there may be crowd trouble within the home section of the stadium. They do have the backing of the law on this. They would have filmed every area of the stands and if anything had arose the match command would have been able to say what area it started from and the video would then be used to pinpoint perpetrators. We can blame the club for many things but not for this.
  7. Is that paragraph not a bit of a contradiction Huisdean? If the team had played ok there wouldn't have been a third goal. Mistakes from our players is not 'playing ok'.
  8. .....it will be four days to Christmas
  9. Before I can be the decision maker I need to buy more lottery tickets. Then when I win and have bought the club I'd get rid of a few people. The board would be made up of people who can see a football club as more than a business. My Chief Exec will be Angela. Wouldn't have a DoF. Dont need one. Tabitha can persuade players to sign long term contracts instead. Cant divulge at the moment who my manager and coaching staff will be. Need to discuss it with them first to be sure they have the interests of the club foremost in their plans. I'll buy out Grant Street and the blocks of flats around it, demolish the lot then build a centre of sporting excellence just like the one Nordsealland have. Very plush offices for my staff. They wouldn't be staff they'd be friends who want to work for me and the club. High street shop. Entertainment venue to outclass any hotel in the city. Sell TCS. And in case anyones worried Clach would fit in to the new setup as well. Where would we be without dreams eh!
  10. People please!!! Whether a poster is making his first or ten thousandth post makes absolutely no difference. That persons viewpoint is just as valid, valued and welcomed as anyone elses. A large number of people have registered on this site in recent times who, if things were different, probably wouldn't have bothered. They are just as much fans of the club as all the old hands and are looking for an outlet to vent their anger, just like everyone else. Up until a trip to Ibrox a few weeks ago I was a pro-Brewster person and was prepared to give him time to show what he can do. Sorry but he's had the time and shown nothing. the continued support for the man by a few is admirable and shows true loyalty but loyalty can be blinding. Fans dont want him. Players dont want him. In that situation nothing is going to be turned around.
  11. There's nothing sinister in this. Camera's are fitted around the stadiums of every SPL club and relayed to monitors in the match command centre. Thats the door you never get to look inside when on a stadium tour. If there is any hint of impending trouble the police will use additional camera's. Protests were well publicised on this site. The police would monitor it all. They film all such, not only to look out for any troublemakers but also, as evidence in court if any trouble does start.
  12. Is his contract not nearly up anyway. A renewal was being discussed a couple of weeks ago. Nows the time for change.
  13. Was it the roving Setanta camera? Or the police camera? Or was it the BBC preparing for the demise of ICT?
  14. There was one young lad calling for Brew's head.
  15. I think you may find Imrie is a lot better than he's showing. I think also that if Brewster doesn't go then Black and Cowie will be off. As will some of the others who are coming up for contract talks. Possibly even Barrowman would be better under the right leadership. The management team have lost the dressing room and my feeling is that the players may just be protesting by performance.
  16. Just heard the radio interview and I'm afraid thats the voice of a man who knows he hasn't a clue. Mumbled some garbage about going through a bad spell and we are working hard to find a way out of it. I wasn't at the game and only have radio to go by but when commentators start saying the manager hasn't a clue then its time for change. He's lost the dressing room, he's lost the fans and he's lost the plot. Brewster there's no way back from that.
  17. I'm sorry to have to say this but the partnership of Craig Brewster and Malkie Thompson is not working. Players being played out of position. Defensive football at home when we should be controlling our own park. Nonsensicle substitutions. Laying the blame at the feet of players who we all know are more than up to the challenges of this league. That coupled with getting rid of players who would be keeping this team together is destroying the club. Morale among players and fans is at an all time low. results are pathetic. Play is non-entertaining. The team has lost all direction. Is the board of this club going to act in the best interests of the club and its fans or have you all decided that part time football in front of 300 each week is what's needed in Inverness. Please, please, please!! Act correct and act now.
  18. If there were too many outside and the police decided it would be safer to let them all in then the SPL wont do anything.
  19. All I can say is thank christ for goal difference.
  20. You mean like when the Glasgow twins come calling.
  21. The key sentence from Ian........."If the fans can get right behind us from the start then that will help us. Unfortunately we dont tend to sing till we're winning. Catch 22 methinks
  22. Extract from Blackie in THE HIGHLAND NEWS "If the fans can get right behind us from the start then that will help us. We know they're disappointed and it's down to us to change things around. One thing's for sure, we're going to go out and give it our best shot. We know we're capable and we'll be doing all we can to come away with the points." If I weren't on this rust bucket in a force 8 gale I'd be cheering them on today.
  23. Alex MacLeod replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Don, I'm only making a suggestion as to why the reponse would come from Mike Smith. As he has no involvement in the football side of things I can think of no other reason why he would reply unless he is intercepting e-mails and acting of his own accord
  24. Alex MacLeod replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
I would imagine that the e-mails were discussed at last nights board meeting and that a standard reply was formulated. I presume those e-mails were sent to the board and not directly to Mike Smith.
  25. I'm quite sure Baz has been on here and has seen it but I may frame it and present it to him Great idea Alex but maybe you should wait until he returns as our manager one day!!! Would that not spoil the last verse?
