thats a bit scary that your respect and support can be bought so cheaply Alex. Not really.........I feel that price will still be too much.

Compensation..................for what. In any other business underachievers are shown the door with a weeks pay in lieu. Ok thats a bit tongue in cheek but Brew is only contracted to the summer so half a years salary in lieu of notice is all he is entitled to. Compensation to another for Brewsters successor............Robbo and Bazza wouldn't need compo. Players..........need support?? Fans also need support and need to see drive, ambition and consistency. I cant pick more than four or five players who fit that bill at the moment. Brewster.......I have said all season I would give him till the end of the year to assess how we play, perform and succeed. He's got one more game to win my respect and support.

The Board Are Geniuses !
Sorry Legend but I have to disagree. A proper management team would have our current squad playing consistently decent football. Not saying they'd be winning every game but they all have enough quality and experience to be doing better than they are. They just need leadership and stability.

John Robertson (Robbo)
Hi Robbo, Been reading this today and what a lift it seems to be giving all those on this site. 24 hours of no abusive post. Great tonic. My question: Last time I seen you you were driving away from the Drumossie on the night of Bazza's dinner. Why didn't you stay and buy me the drink you owe me? Be in Heathmount on 2nd /3rd Jan if you want to buy it then Alex MacLeod

Is Barrowman our worst ever signing?
I believe that this time next year we will all be singing the praises of Barrowman. Its a very big step from div 2 to SPL. Worst signing I'm not sure. Worst player to grace the dressing room.............Bajram Fetia

Celtic Curfew
Most clubs have a ban on drinking unless the following day is a day off. Simply because training after a night on the bevy can result in injury. Body still being dehydrated and all that. Strachan has banned his players from socializing in Glasgow. Not anywhere else. As is said this is for personal protection. There have been far too many incidents in recent times between players and Joe public. I have heard rangers may go the same route.

McNulty injured. Ridgers got flu.

Elgin to Replay Spartans
Spartans are not squeeky clean either. A few years ago they won a qualifying cup final. It was then discovered they had played an ineligible player. this guy had played in the first round for another team. they then had to suffer the embarrassment of handing back the trophy and medals.
-
Elgin to Replay Spartans
To be fair to Elgin, they registered the player and asked the SFA for clarity. This clarity didn't come so it was assumed to be ok to play the guy. Hence the reason for a replay and not a forfieture. It will never be admitted but the SFGA are part to blame.

I support all scotty says there. Grassa is a decent person who has the same desires as the rest of us for the future of the club. Looking at the squad we have they should be getting results. It should be possible to pick the team and walk away and leave them to it. There is enough experience to control what happens on the pitch. it just isn't happening though. On saturday I witnessed a mass walkout from a half empty stadium. I hope the players on the field witnessed it as well. they are the ones not doing what they're paid to do. they go to parkhead and lose by a single goal after puting on a very good performance but in front of their home following they cant perform.....Why??

Contracts (Merged)
As has been said above I believe JC has held of because he wants to see what the market holds before committing to the listed players. Whereas we know Black and Cowie are vital to our future.

Best wishes to BARRY WILSON
One of the true gentlemen of the world and one I have no hesitation in wishing well for the future. I hope, Barry, that you continue to grace the stands of TCS with your family.

Grassa may well want Brewster to stay but as DoF he has no clout. It always has been, and always will be, a board decision who to hire and fire at that level. Grassa may be able to convince the rest of the board one way or the other as a member but he needs the backing of the other members.
