  1. I'm quite sure Baz has been on here and has seen it but I may frame it and present it to him
  2. Arguments one way or the other will go on and on on this site and each person has a valid viewpoint. There will always be for and againsts and this subject is no different to any other but can I ask that no protest be carried out this saturday and that the memory of the man who fought tooth and nail to establish this club be remembered and respected.

As someone pointed out, if Zadi is being let go then we will still need to compensate him by an equivalent amount to what he would earn to the end of his contract. Thats not freeing up money for new players. Any that go will be those nearing the end of their contracts. Not sure quite how it works with the youngsters like Zander. I'm sure that, if they are contracted within the youth development scheme we cant just dump them. We can sell them on or lone them out but I think we have to look after them to whatever is deemed the end of their apprenticeship. Could be totally wrong on this mind. No doubt CD will come up with the rules on this one.
  4. I dont agree with the physically strong aspect. Many strikers of slight build have faired well in the SPL. If he can be in the right position to tap in from a good cross that just as valuable as the thunderous shot into the back of the net. The thunderous striker will put eight over the bar for every one he scores with.

Absolutely agree with Scotty on this.
  6. Its results that determine the co-efficient so if Aberdeen and St Mirren were to get into the Champions league and then do better than the Glasgow twins have done in the last couple of years then the co-efficient would maybe be better than it is now. Unfortunately football is driven by money. Look at the champions league each season and you'll see its generally the same teams that are competing. There are a few teams in every top league in europe who's drive is always to get into the CL And they spend to suit. There's a lot of prize money at stake. One problem with Scotland is the size of the country and the fact that historically religion dictated who you supported. hence Celtic and Rangers can both muster 50,000+ fans every week, whereas we cant get 4000. Go to a Spanish match and you'll not find too many away fans at a game. Partly because of distance to travel and partly because the home team is always going to sell to their own first so there's never many away spaces. (I believe Spain doesn't have rules on percentages of tickets for away support) So long as there is an OF in the SPL then nothing will change as far as winning the league is concerned. The other teams dont have the fanbase anymore to provide the funds to be able to compete and very few money people are prepared to put up funds without gauranteed returns.
  7. Richard you need to catch up with the goings on at ICT. Savage resigned six months ago
  8. I've never been able to find the reason but Montrose people have always been known as Gable Enders. A Red Lichtie is a coloquial name for a smoked haddock (Arbroath Smokie)
  9. Think you may find the ginger minger has finally given up on Boruc and he'll be let go.

Brewster did exact same with Watt last season. he seems to think nothing of wasting ICTs cash. Give some respect. Brewster did not do exactly the same with Watt. Watt came to us on loan but got injured after the CIS cup game against Arbroath. He was out for quite some time and just wasn't able to oust Hastings from the position. Had he not suffered the injury then maybe he would have featured more.
  11. Ode to Barry O?er breakfast in the Wilson house Bob say?s ?you cannae play?. You?re just too young to make your mark on this important day. The tears welled up inside the boy till Mum was heard to say Bob if you don?t include the lad I?m cooking no more tea. Baz took the road from Dingwall to St Mary?s Southampton He got a little homesick so came back to County?s town. Two years he stayed to learn his trade then headed down to Fife Brought under Jimmy Nicholl?s wing to start a brand new life. In ninety six Steve Patterson came looking for the lad, Who?d played for Raith in Europe, to become a Caley Jag He done a job as striker just before they sold him on A hundred thousand smackers from the mighty Livingston Three years had gone then back he came to play for Robertson An asset to the Caley team he became our favourite son There?s never been a more loved player who wore the red and blue Takes time to talk with any fan a real gent through and through He scored the very last goal of the old millennium Then started of the new with one against the Livingston One hundred and eleven goals throughout his whole career Whenever Barry Wilson plays the fans will shout and cheer. Sadly now the years catch up and though he?s still quite fit It seems some think he?s maybe lost the power in his right foot. But we all know that Barry can, and will, return once more To lead the mighty Inverness and settle many a score. Good luck Bazza.
  12. George Fraser - Happy Grassa - Dopey Catto - Bashful Cameron - Sneezy Mackie - Sleepy MacDonald - Doc And Malkie Thompson should be Grumpy
  13. I believe that Robbo may have been influential is us taking Dennis back. But, ultimately, it was under Brew that he signed a loan deal then pre-contract.
  14. For the last time , Sone is fit and will play . Bet tokely gets a poor sleep on Friday . Tokers has served his totting up ban so starts afresh. Get in early and hurt the guy. Worth a yellow.
  15. Hey it was deliberate! The back four are all Brewster players, with Byrne on the wish list. The midfield will probably all be gone next season and Wyness is just what we need up front but obviously he's gone. Ok, my real team (Tokely's out isn't he)? ----------------Esson------------------ Proctor--Duff----McGuire------Hastings --------------Duncan-------------------- Cowie--------Black-------Wilson ---------------Imrie------------- ---------------Rooney---------- Cowie and Wilson to push on. Imrie pretty much a free role. Sutherland probably replacing the tiring Wilson. Whats Grant done so bad to deserve being dropped?

What? After the state of your feet last year!
  17. This is Brewster at 3 months old

4 of those were under Charlie. My post was all about when Brewster took over. Brown Dods and dargo were gone by then.
  19. Without Jock MacDonald, a Jaggie, a lover of the game and a man who believed in the future success of a merged Inverness team there would be no ICT. RIP Jock.

Five losses in 18 games is excellent. Those players were once the backbone of this team. Nowhere will you find a post from me slagging Brewster. You'll find some where I doubt his ability. WGS is an arrogant wee sh!te.

We only ever went 4-5-1 after Brewster came back. We won many games before that and always played 4-4-2 both home and away.
  22. Wont wash this time. One swallow maketh not a summer.

Send him over for a trial Finn Harps FC. Manager Paul Hegarty who was assistant at Derry City to a certain Stephen Kenny. He who came to Dunfermline from Derry City then went back there to take over from Robbo.

I might manage a short stint but unfortunately I cant commit till I know the dates of the last two games.
  25. If each teams got 100 books then we'd still have to pay the 5% levy on 2400 tickets.
