One reason for the phonecall may well be they want money up front but I think the main reason is to give those who haven't yet renewed the opportunity to retain the same seat as last season. seats are being held until tomorrow then they're up for grabs to anyone. To anyone who isn't renewing for whatever reason but still intends to go to all the home games. Your cost per game will be ?17.90 for main stand against ?25/?27 and ?15.26 for North against ?20/?22. theres also a five month interest free option to pay if ordered before 16th june.

To be fair I hope we see a lot more of Kerr and Duff. Both over six foot and twelve stone they've worked very hard in the last few years to come through to the first team and, like Vigurs, Wood, Gillespie and Sutherland, should be allowed the chance to show what they can do. Not only does this help them in their careers it also shows the other youths that the opportunity is there if the work is put in. We have potential and, I believe, very good back up in those players. Oh and the Marius Andy partnership is going to reap so many goals that defence wont matter too much.........like back in the Pele days when we could let three in cos we knew we'd score four. :003:

There must be some sort of scouting in place. We've taken on a fifteen year old youth from Greenock. Someone obviously spotted him. As for Zadi, I've seen players in the past, and at other clubs, who have not performed well with one team but shine when they move on. Some of that is down to team spirit, some is down to coaching methods and encouragement. One such already mentioned above is Darren Dods. He came to us without much of a reputation and turned into one of our best players ever. There was a lot of sticks being thrown when Dargo was brought in then a lot of disappointment when he left. A number of people weren't too happy at us signing Rankin. Cowie and Imrie are doing well. I believe this season we will also see the ripening of the fruits of the youth system that have been brought through. I also believe there will be strong competition for places which will inspire better quality from the players. Those in charge at this club have done well in the choice of players they have brought in over the years (MacDonald and Fetai aside) and I'm happy to think they are continuing that trait and that ICT will continue to bring out the best in the players they sign.

McNulty was signed for the youths a year ago and was this season promoted to first team as third choice keeper.

If we'd signed Micheal Ballack there would be fans on here finding some fault or other. Apparantly Zadi didn't do too well in Germany because his style of play was deemed to be too aggressive. He has no fear and likes to get in about players. Something that is lacking at ICT.

We've let Dean MacDonald, Richie Hart, Dennis Wyness and Graham Bayne go. Dean never featured anyway so in real terms three players have gone. Watt was a lone deal so was going anyway.

At the start of every season clubs must register their colours with SFA before they can compete in cup games. Some clubs register a third choice to make things easier if, for example, a game is to be played at a neutral ground where if the first choice colours of both teams clash then both must change to a second choice. Having a third choice makes it easier to come to the correct agreement. A team may also use their third choice in an away league game if their second choice could clash with the first choice of the home team and they dont want to wear their home colours. Some teams are superstitious about using home colours for an away match and vice versa. As an aside to all that, I visited the Riverside stadium in Middlesborough last year. During a tour of the stadium we were informed that a number of teams, including Middlesborough, paint the away dressing room a drab green colour as they believe this to have a negative psychological effect on the visiting players. Apparantly green subdues them and they dont get of to a flying start.
