  1. Graham Baynes done alright at this club. He may not have scored too many but he's assisted in a fair few. I dont think he got a fair crack at it this season because everything had to revolve around Niculae.
  2. All those who have applied will be accepted. I'm having trouble updating the league table at the beginning of this thread so once the deadline has been reached and I've updated on the Metro site I will ask CaleyD to sort this one. James your accepted
  3. For anyone who only looks in the ICT forum and doesn't browse the others, or haven't noticed this one heres a link.............Euro2008 Fantasy Football Follow the link and instructions throughout the thread and for a meagre ?5 outlay you could become the proud owner of a brand new ICT home shirt. Admin and mods.......using this forum for a few hours of publicity. Will remove tomorrow.
  4. Midnight tonight (BST) is the deadline for getting your team into the league. Follow the link and instructions throughout this thread. And remember.........for the meagre outlay of ?5 you could become the proud owner of a brand new ICT home shirt.
  5. It appears to me, reading the story, that nobody from the club is quoted as naming names. Same goes for the courier story Journalists are very good at making a story seem like its come from the horses mouth and a passing remark can be turned into a big thing. P&J is famous for such tactics and speculations. 8 out of ten times they get it all wrong. Unless a person, and in this case its Grassa and not Brew, is directly quoted as having said something then I take the stories with a pinch of salt. This could well be a case of 'Grassa says to journalist......."I hear Tony Mowbray might put young Dorrans out on loan".......which translates in the journo's head as ICT have expressed an interest in Dorrans. What Grassa is actually saying in courier is "we hope to have an answer from Barrowman this week and are also looking to take in another couple of strikers". Or at least thats my interpretation.
  6. The player hires the agent to get him the best deal possible by whatever means. Playing teams of against each other in the press is a favourite ploy. In Nicholsons case it may all backfire. Incidentley, I was browsing a site one night that listed players and their agents. Cant remember what site it was but I noted that only four or five ICT players use agents.
  7. No No....read the title. Its about Barry Wilsons dad :001:
  8. The size will be what the winner requests
  9. Anyone else who wants to join the league please get your team in soon. I will not be accepting teams after midnight on friday as I may not have time after that to do the admin bit. To make this a little bit exciting if all the team managers agree to make a donation (I suggest ?5) to CaleyD on behalf of Highland March I will donate an 08/09 ICT home shirt as a prize to the winner of our league. CaleyD, are you prepared to accept the above and can you set up a system to recieve the monies. Oh! and as you may have noticed the table update still wont work for me. All I done was replace the text between the tabs.
  10. Italy 1 v Romania 1 Netherlands 2 v France 1 Sweden 1 v Spain 2 Greece 1 v Russia 2 Netherlands

Being as this is just another 'lets slag Brewster thread, and there are many of them, I've decided to lock it for the time being. If admin or other mods disagree with me then feel free to unlock.
  13. Coves ground is not suitable though they have plans to play at a new community stadium planned for the area. Spartans are in the process of building a new stadium that would be compliant Annan I dont know too much about nor Preston Apparantly Huntly have also decided to join the battle
  14. Objection Sir Mannie......how can a thread about the father and most loyal fan of one of the greatest players ICT has ever signed be non-ICT
  15. Barry takes his looks of his mum and his behavioural skills from his dad. Barry was fifteen when he first joined County. One saturday morning as he was getting ready to set out for the game Bobby told him he wouldn't be playing. Barry ran to his mum with a tear in his eye. Needless to say he was on the teamsheet that day.
  16. What a goal, what a free kick, he just bent it like Beckham................................ Germany, who weren't so lucky in 1966, deserved the win Holland, from the south of the english channel,........................... France, who were once the arch enemies of the english,............
  17. CD, I still have a problem trying to update the table. I delete the original text between the html tabs and paste in the new but it wont work. Where is it all going wrong? RiG, you,ve been accepted.
  18. Scotty, are we talking Tiree, Wick, Stornoway Or is it Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh Or maybe Norwich, Middlesborough, London, Manchester, Bristol Or Stockholm, Bergen, Dublin, Belfast Christ when you look into it we could take players from anywhere :003:
  19. Looked into the modify page again and I think I did delete the html by mistake. Shouldn't have a problem now you've spaced the tags out. Thanks
  20. CD.....HHHEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! I've fecked it up
  21. Rab Douglas is available. Could he put pressure on Ike?
  22. LOWER LEAGUE AWARDS Well done Andy
  23. James, I dont think Leeds United are a good benchmark. Leeds are the best team in div and have been both seasons they've been in it Unfortunately 10 point deduction last season and 15 points this have hampered the journey back up. This is the team that was Div 1 champions prior to the Premiership being formed. They were the Man U / Chelsea / Arsenal in the prem early days. They hit on hard times around five years ago, got relegated and plummeted down through the championship. In that time they have still managed to maintain a big fanbase and are now trying to get back to where they would like to be. They are now out of administration, and provided they can keep it that way, will get back to the top flight in the next 3 seasons.
  24. Having watched a lot of premiership, championship and div 1 games this last season I would say Rangers would struggle to get out of the championship. I think the rest of the SPL teams would hover between championship and div 1. The big difference is the amount of money down south. i.e Doncaster Rovers in div 1 average gate around 9000. Play-off final v Leeds 75000 decend on Wembley from the poorer regions of north engerlund. The difference of a couple of thousand more bums on seats make a big difference on the quality of team. Leeds were once one of the greats of the premiership. Now they cant get out of div 1. Very difficult to make comparrisons cause the playing fields aren't level.
