  1. Cos, like every other rule and regulation in Europe, some erse sat in a plush office twiddling his thumbs decided it would be good to set a standard european licence.
  2. The working time directive was 20 days excluding weekends which actually gives 28 days. The minimum stat days is 4 though most employers give 8. Thats all of topic though. I just get so p!ssed off reading so much negativity before the new season has even begun. Whatever happened to the ICT motto 'Pride of the Highlands'. or even 'We Believe'.
  3. Holland 3 Russia 0 Spain 1 Italy 2 Villa 0
  4. Alex MacLeod replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Wave energy, tidal turbines, wind turbines and solar combined could do quite a bit to reduce the energy costs at TCS but there is a down side to that and that is the cost of the equipment needed. One of the little B & Q turbines wouldn't keep the boardroom fridge running never mind all the other power required. Its not just lights and kettles. Theres the heating system, the office equipment, lots of hot water required, all the pie ovens. Added up a lot of power is required. Unfortunately the technology that would generate the required power is not yet cost effective enough to justify it.
  5. Can everyone stop and think for a moment. The gist of the comments are that CB should be back at the club and not studying for a mandatory qualification. The one point being forgotten is that Brewster is doing this in what should be his holiday time. He. like every other employee in the land, is entitled to a minimum of 28 days annual holidays + statutatory days. The only time of year that those involved in football can take their holidays is between seasons. Brewster is, therefore, forsaking part of his holiday entitlement to study for this licence. If he doesn't get it then the club get into bother.
  6. om an archive search of HN I've deduced he,s from Helmsdale.
  7. Wrong Sutherland TCF. Alexander Sutherland, one of our youth players, came to us from Wick Academy. Not 100% sure but I think Zander could be from Huntly and was part of the Elgin youth setup before CC brought him to Inverness. Wiki is written by ordinary folk like those who write in these forums and sometimes they get the facts wrong so it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
  8. ........it would be red and black with a big jaggie thistle on the breast.
  9. Look again at the pic. Last seasons shorts didnt have a red band down the right leg
  10. During this weeks press conference a reporter asks, "is it true your going after Callum Elliott"? Graeme Bennet replies, " we are having a look at him along with a number of other players". Isn't Grassa damned no matter what he says. He answers yes to a simple question and he's blabbing to the press. People should realise that journo's are renowned the world over for taking a comment as being gospel and for spinning that comment into a major story. Folks complain about the lack of publicity then when it happens they also complain.
  11. The realists among us know that, no matter who the manager, DoF, Chairman, tea lady or whatever, unless a very rich person, with bags of cash to throw around, buys out the existing shareholders and pumps endless wads at the club, we will not progress enough to compete at the top. Even Aberdeen struggle and they have a far bigger average gate than us. We dont have the income to attract the standard of player or indeed manager we need to compete regularly in the top half.
  12. Only teams made up of players from Premiership or equivalent clubs should be there.....................suppose thats why England aren't
  13. Christ CD, you must have some eyesight to be able to comment on the quality of the stitching from a photo.
  14. Perhaps with the right coaching he could do a job for us. He's only turned 21 and his development may have been affected by the turmoil that is Heart of Midlothian FC.
  15. Gary Donaldson, Apologies for declining your request to enter the league but I did put a closing date for entries and it would be unfair to the others if you were now included. Hope you can understand this Alex
  16. Portugal 3 Germany 1 Croatia 2 Turkey 0 Yes
  17. Yep, and three of those clubs you mention were among the best teams in the country at the time of playing in europe. What your saying is, if ICT finish fifth in the league and make it as losing SC finalists against one of the first, second or third teams above them this season they dont deserve the chance in europe.
  18. Wonder if Rory would be more suited to a central midfield role. He's big enough and ugly enough.
  19. Are those comments necessary? Perhaps when the team go to Denmark they should all stay there, after all it was crap team performances that let us down last season.
  20. And Iain Blair wants to take the little bit of glory away from the Scottish Cup runners up. Sorry but if you are a team who has worked their socks of to reach the final against an already qualified for Europe team than why shouldn't you get that we bit extra glory. After all if you win the SC you qualify.
  21. The fixtures have been altered somewhat this season to ensure no OF derby's prior to or just after National or European games. New Year game home to Rangers 3rd Jan.
  22. If I was the dutch coach I wouldn't want France or Italy getting through to the quarter finals so I be inclined to let Romania beat me and take the second spot. :023:
  23. Sites up and running again.
  24. He's maybe doing it so he can fekk of back to Greece
  25. Buchanan chose div 1 football over SPL so cant see him coming.
