Wyness Future
My belief is that Dennis contract with us actually expired on 24th May yet he stayed with the club. According to Soccerbase he came back to us on loan from august 05 until he was released from his contract with Hearts on 7th may 06. He then signed a two year deal on 24th may 06. Moment of severe senility as will be pointed out by LG later None of us know what could happen yet.

Trust for Brew
You dont land quality cheap if you let the world know what, or who, your looking at. None of the management team have been sat on their rumps in their free time and I'm very sure the right people will be brought in to fill the voids. If you want us to go after the players on free's that other teams dont want then wheres the ambition. And also bear in mind that most players who may be interested are now on holiday and probably not thinking about the new season just yet. Why would we want to confirm we've no interest in Byrne. Would you expect Brew to hold a press conference and list every player he's not interested in. We have not even been linked to any players other than Barrowman at the minute so why would we mention any. The only people linking us with certain players are those who post on this site.

Paatelainen Given 6 Month Extension
This is not about wasting a wage. This is about good PR. Building a good reputation. Taking care of our own. Call it what you like. If the club is seen to care for its staff then there could well be long term benifits. Hibs starlets on loan to ICT? Players more willing to come because of the caring attitude? Who knows. Would be good if you could direct me to that statement on another thread, about securing one extra player, though CD

SPL club,
Tickets have been available to ST holders since monday. Ticket office has been open from 10 am to 4:30 pm each day and from 10 am saturday till close of business, whatever time that was. The club believed that would be enough time to allow priority groups the chance to purchase before general sale. This is not an ICT football match. It is a testimonial being organised by a committee and, although the club do not need to take control of the ticketing, the staff agreed to take on the additional workload. The reason for the priority deadline was to give season ticket holders the chance to retain their own seat for this game. Clearly there are people who managed to purchase tickets on saturday and equally clearly there are those who didn't and they have expressed their disappointment. Whether people are, or are not, telling the truth on this matter is not for me, or anyone else, to judge without hard facts, so would those who are turning this thread into one of name-calling, slanging and downright abuse please refrain from doing so.

Trust for Brew
Yep, fit and healthy but is that to the detriment of footballing skill and tactical coaching.

Brewster's take on the Season.
This season turned out to be such a disaster that only Celtic, Rangers and Dundee U scored more goals than us.
-
Trust for Brew
Its not necessarilly Brew who will keep us up. Its the will and desire of everyone involved in the club from shareholder and director down to the bums on seats. And everyone in between

Brewster's take on the Season.
I see no criticism levelled at you Mahonio. What I see is answers to your question. Fans views. The views of the real world. Everyone has an opinion and just because it differs from yours does not mean they are abusing you.

ICT -V- St Mirren : matchday thread
Marius played on his own after Proc was sent off. Tokely moved to centre back, Russell to right back and Blackie into midfield. How else should he have done it. 3-4-2 and hope for the best?

Brewster's take on the Season.
Twelve teams in this league all want top six. We have no more right than any other to be there. Three thousand ST holders will never be enough to provide us with the team that can take us there so avoiding relegation will always be our goal. Anything else is a bonus. We've got players, and more will come, who have a will to win and thats what will keep us in the SPL. We've been four seasons in this league and still we cant break the 5000 average home gate. Progress will only come if bums increase.

ICT -V- St Mirren : matchday thread
So people, who would you have used as subs then. Wyness was sacrifised when Proc was sent off. Bayne came on for Nic. Straight swap and Hart for Baz straight swap. When down to ten you can't risk inexperienced players so you use the experience on the bench regardless of whether they will or wont be here next season.

SPL club,
Close of business for tickets is, I believe, 1445 on a saturday when the team are at home. Ticket office hours are 10.00 to 16.30 Monday to Friday and saturday morning. So, in effect, you enquired after close of ticketing business.

Paatelainen Given 6 Month Extension
Dear people, I sincerely hope none of you become employers or injured employees. Imagine how you'd feel if you got injured carrying out your job and your employer dumped you. What ICT are doing here is ensuring this lad is able to afford to live through his recovery period. Recovering from an injury he recieved whilst in the employ of ICT. Had he been let go to fend for himself how many on here would be calling ICT all the heartless berstewards under the sun.

Summer transfer targets
He couldn't be signed up weeks ago. He's still under contract at County. The transfer window is not open yet. And, Barrowman said himself, he is in no hurry to sign for anyone till after he's had a good holiday and has plenty of time to think about where he wants to go.

Barry signs new deal
Has anyone stopped to think that perhaps Barry wanted the 6 month deal. As Scotty says it allows him a get out and move to a lower division if it doesn't work out. Barry wants to play football. He is also interested in getting into coaching and would be looking at such a position if it comes up. His family are happy and settled in Dingwall and he doesn't want to up sticks and move south. The rolling contract will allow him to go to another job without penalty for breaking his contract.

Next Inverness Caley Manager
I couldn't name any managers, who are not currently at a more successful team than us, who I think could do a better job at the moment. Robbo perhaps. Craig Brewster deserves the chance to show what he can do over the next few months. He does have contacts in the game and he may persuade two or three good players to come and help in the development of our youngsters. If he can get the right mix of youth and experience then I think he may get the rest right. I was like Scotty in that I didn't want the club to be seen to be going backwards by bringing Brew back but, over the years, I have seen our board make some good choices and I have to trust that they know what they're doing now.
