    Who cares. He's chosen a new career now...................................................bench tester/warmer.
  2. And would her idea of a good day's shopping be the Paizza and Braehead? :023:
  3. Laura do I get to sit between you and Angela :005: :love07:
  4. Apparantly Falkirk and St M have both tabled ?70,000 bids with Hibs and Aberdeen also interested. The club have said they want at least what they paid so, if all clubs bid the same, does the final decision come down to where Rankin wants to go?

I think Alan could have done a job for us but, unfortunately, like one or two others he felt he should be playing regular first team and was not happy being just a squad player. This is something that happens at all clubs. Lads become more ambitious than their club can allow so they make a song and dance and are then allowed to leave. Sometimes they're successful where they go. Sometimes they fail. One of the points that should be remembered before critisising such players is that they all want to earn more, just like the rest of us, and if they cant break into the first team they are not eligible for the bonus's etc. I wish Alan, and any other player, every success in their choices to progress in their career's elsewhere.
  6. Yep, 30/12/06 Falkirk 3 - 1 ICT Stokes(33,37,45) Rankin (90)
  7. Nothing on OFFICIAL Hibs site.
  8. Well done today lads. Even when we were down and out you kept on singing and giving the rest of us a laugh with some impromptu lyrics :021: And you didn't half make Deano blush but whats with the dance thing?
  9. Approx 1.5 minutes of highlights. Lithgie got longer
  10. Reading this you'd be forgiven for thinking we played well. Oh! and Rankin was injured.
  11. I hadn't realised he'd been yellowed earlier. I thought it was straight red for violent conduct, which was only seen by the linesman cos nobody else in the stadium seen anything.
  12. Just home from a freezing Easter Road and wishing I hadn't went. We were beaten fair and square by a not very impressive Hibs. Things we so bad that I didnt even realise Cowie was paying till the second half. Black and Tokely were the only ones trying to play the game. Some of our players really need to go back to school and learn how to pass a ball. Nuff said
  13. The land is still owned by Highland council. We have a long term lease on it. ICT Properties, I believe, is a trust company mainly involving Tullochs, ICT FC, Highland Council and others. ICT FC would not gain from land prices increasing other than a financial incentive to terminate the lease early.

Might see him play tomorrow. He's in the squad for Hibs
  15. Thats not quite true caleyboy. I believe there's around 20% of the club available to a buyer and around another 20% that the holding individuals may be willing to sell at a small profit, which wouldn't take much considering they dont get a return on their investment as it is. I get worried when persons are reported as wanting to invest in any business because generally this means takeover. I'd like to here what the stadium developement one is though. The marina needs a hotel. Is it someone who wants to develop with such a facility attached that they would control and operate. The final thing that intrigues me is this 'feeder club' view. I know that some clubs are referred as such because they tend to bring players through and sell them on but, not being a club with such a reputation, I cant see why anyone would see ICT as being such.
  16. I feel everyones had a chance to pay respects on this thread so have taken the liberty of releasing the sticky.
  17. Think this deserves a sticky
  18. I'd agree with TM4TJ. An average hoe crowd for lesser games is around 3200 diehards. Official gate 3919 so 5-600 more than the norm. Successful bit of business.
  19. Difference Chris is that we are the big team nowadays.
  20. Was that not a certain journalist who's username escapes me but who's hobby involved gents toilets
  21. Cant see it Johndo. Peterhead are not doing enough to maintain full time players. I agree with you on the Tokely / Dods analogy but would add to that Wilson. When Ross made his overlap runs Barry was always there to drop back. Cowie just doesn't do it.
  22. Fraser Tokely Proctor Munro Hastings Cowie Black Duncan Rankin Niculae Wyness Substitutes Malkowski, McBain, Bayne, Paatelainen, Vigurs, Gillespie, Duff
  23. Two points Marty. 1. Rankin wants away 2. Hart is cover for right mid, Rankin fairs better on left. Hart is not being prefered over Rankin. Brew would like to keep them both but Rankin wants to move back to central belt and was told he could go if right offer came in. His reasons for wanting a move are, I believe, personal and not entirely football related
