  1. Do we really need another thread on the same subject? Get real, grow up and get a life. As Johndo see's we will survive and prosper.
  2. Moderators, I take offence to this post. Personal insult against anyone should not be allowed. Craig Dargo, Zander Sutherland, Rory McAllister and other youths that I cant remember were all brought to the first team by Brewster.
  3. Charles, that has just reminded me of something else. Brewsters first day in charge last time. We were in the Golf club and I nipped out to get a copy of Going Ballistic, which Ian Broadfoot was signing. He wasn't too impressed when I said "thanks Mr Bannerman." Anyway, whilst heading back to the club I was stopped by Setanta guy and asked my opinion on our new signing. One Craig Brewster.
  4. Centre back..............we are still in discussion with the Derry lad. There's too much nagativity at the minute. Time to take stock of what we have and get behind the team. Talk of boycotts and chucking season tickets will help nobody. Bit like chucking the dummy. None of us know how things will turn out and I would like to think that the board of this club are doing the best they can, given the resources.
  5. One thing I would add here is that, of all the candidates, Brewster is the one that knows most of the players and their qualities and so should not need to waste time assessing what he has available.
  6. Clacher, can you explain your statement "make ammends for leaving the NI international scene"
  7. No matter my opinion of Craig Brewster as a manager I have found him to be a very nice person and I feel that some of the abuse being hurled at him is uncalled for and totally out of order.
  8. :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03:
  9. Neil Lennon, no matter what he was like as a player, will one day be a sought after manager.
  10. I will always be supportive of this team and if Brewster proves to bring positive play and positive results then I'll also be supportive of him. To be honest we need to get back to the days of being able to last 90 mins. And that is one thing we could achieve under Brew. He had stamina levels up so we were able to play exactly like Celtic do now. Absorb for 75 mins, tire out the opposition then hit them hard for the last 15. Remember how we felt when Celtic done just that to us in the Scottish Cup. We were quite good at the same tactic under Brew. First and foremost we need results to stay in the league and his first half dozen games is when he'll be judged so I'm prepared, assuming he is the one chosen, to support him and the team until they falter.
  11. Maybe thats where the interviews are being held. So who were those officials. Take it thats where you work then KC
  12. Take it you dont go to ICT games then
  13. I believe that to comply with the law you need to swap your existing seat for one in the singing section. Seats are numbered.
  14. Mentioned somewhere on this forum that CC was on around ?100k and that Warnock wants ?350k
  15. Who says anyone wants Brewster over Warnock? Who says Warnock wants the job? Who says that if he did want the job we could afford to pay him? Lets say his asking price is ?350k. Thats ?250k the club would need to find. Of approx 1000 season tickets more. Thats the reality.

Not if you get the ferry to Gourock :003: St Johnston will expect some decent compo, Coyle has only recentley signed an extension to his contract.
  17. The Marriot? Whats wrong with his own house? Get it right Mee, it's "but........eee" :003:
  18. Personally I dont understand all the fuss at the moment. Brewster has not been signed. He may be the one that the board feel is the best choice. I dont know. But I will say this much, if he is chosen then I sincerely hope he manages from the touchline and not the pitch. Craig Brewster done alright with us last time and I'm sure he's learned from his experiences since. He's had a further years coaching from the two Jimmies so who knows? This time next year we may all be wondering what the fuss is about.
  19. Be it Brewster, Warnock or whoever attendances will stay pretty much the same. I make the effort to go to games to support my TEAM. Not to support one individual. And I will continue to do so as long as I'm able.

Can just see Grazza rolling about his living room floor at this thread. Funniest one in a long time.
  21. Does anyone use high streets nowadays. Much easier to drive to the out of town super centres...aka Inches :003:
  22. Yeah and, if memory serves correct, ?40,000 in expenses payments is a pretty small drop in the ocean if you ask me. That would likely include the office afternoon teacakes, entertainment of potential sponsors and loads of other things sundries. Not much left for GB to live the high life

Time for a reality check KC. Uefa cup regularly in two years. Get serious. We.ve been three years in SPL. Other teams, who have been in league since its inception have never been in Uefa cup so what makes us any better than them. Scottish Football is no longer about the OF..............thats why they finish top two almost every season and why their turnover is in the tens of millions.
  24. Payments made to any directors are published in the annual statement and very transparent. And to put another myth to bed. GB went to italy to make arrangements for the summer camp, he done the same last year and he went to Denmark the year before that for the same reasons. In previous years he did not accompany the team on the actual camp and I dont believe he did so this time. Things like training camp organisation are his job as DoF and I wouldn't for one minute expect him to have to pay for such trips out of his own pocket.

What a stupid suggestion. Our players, no matter how much anyone tries to convince them otherwise, feel they are the ones who have let CC down and I'm sure they intend to hit the field on saturday and play their hearts out for Charlis Christie. How the **** would it make them feel if the stands were empty because of some silly boycott. The best man for the job will be put in place and whether the board feel it should be Brewster or anyone else it is up to every true fan of this club to show support by getting behind the team. The board of this club, of which Graeme Bennett is a member, will make the choice that they feel is the best one. Oh! and incidentally, Graeme Bennett would get my vote of confidence.
