Melville / Dundee / 25pt Deduction
Eric Paton might be good to fill in at right back especially, and correct me if I'm wrong, as mccann is off in January and proctor doesn't look up to the spl this time round.

I think patons red was deserved. Hayes went in for the tackle and he just kicked him. Tokely's maybe should have been a red, it was almost assault. But that's why we love him

Ex-ICT players score
A Steven Watt just scored for Grimsby. Don't know whether it was the one who played for us or not though.

From what i have seen of st mirren, them and killie because I really don't rate mixu as a manager. However, they've had a good start and he looks like he's brought in some good we players. I still think it's too early to decide ours and other teams fate. Remember we lost 6 or 7 games in a row at the start of the season, a couple of seasons ago. We just need to pick up points against the teams we'd expect to be around us

Dropping Proctor would be a start YES! No-one really impressed tonight, but this boy was woeful. Why is it that every time someone is running at him he backs off and backs off until he gets into the box before putting a risky challenge in. Tuffey played well considering he let in 6. Some major defensive changes need to happen in January. Golly and proctor out. About 4 in! This just shows the complete lack of depth in our squad. Not worried though, there are far worse teams than us in this league

The penalties yesterday
Motherwell's Graeme Smith saved a last minute Rooney penalty in 2008. Although Rooney did score the rebound. Now i remember Michael McGovern saving one last season but he got the rebound

The penalties yesterday
Has anyone noticed that rooney always goes to the keepers right on penalties? Don't think he ever changes. If he keeps scoring though I'm not too bothered :P I think JT is the only keeper to save one of his penalties?

Singing Section
I see what you're saying there. At the Dundee game at the end of last season me and a few mates wanted to go and stand up the back of section G to sing. But about 10 minutes into the first half a few codgers came in and told us to move because we were in their seats, before sitting down and probably not saying anything throughout the game. I do understand that they can do that because it is their seat but were were wanting to add to the atmosphere and it doesnt help when we had to go back down to the front and everytime we stood up we were told to sit down by the people behind, I agree with IHE, reserve section G for people that want to sing!

Inverness CT 0-0 Real Valladolid (FT)
I spotted Derek Adams before the match along with Barrowboy, Scott Boyd and Richard Brittain. Boring, boring game. Such a lack of attacking football. Rossco and Coxy were our best players IMO, Gil was dreadful, Gillet's anticipation of where the ball is going was poor. He kept missing it and he seemed to be in the wrong place most of the time. Tuffey was solid at the back but no-one ever looked like scoring

Next Seasons Numbers
The official site has given some players numbers. If they are the correct ones or not, I dont know. But they have put the number 12 beside both Sanchez and Tuffey. 1. Ryan Esson 2. David Proctor 3. Ross Tokely 4. Grant Munro 5. Stuart Golabek 6. Lee Cox 7. Eric Odhiambo 8. Russell Duncan 9. Richie Foran 10. Adam Rooney 11. Jonny Hayes 12. Danni Sanchez 12. Jonny Tuffey 15. Kevin McCann 16. Roy McBain 17. Gavin Morrison 18. Gil Blumenshtein 19. Nick Ross 21. Graeme Shinnie 22. Max Johnson No number for Shane Sutherland.

ICT Squad
I think Terry will probably use the starting 11 that ended last season so strongly. Except Odi being replaced by Blumenshtein in the attacking midfielder role. A top quality left back, (I wouldnt argue with Harris) and we are going to have some squad this season IMO. I also think that should Rooney get injured Gil would take the full forward position and let Odi and Sanchez fight to be the attacking midfielder. Sutherland could be quite good to take on with 15-20 minutes to go and maybe win the headers against the tired defenders

The Official World Cup Thread
The last time England had a foreign manager (Sven) they sacked him following a world cup failure. Then the fans said that they wanted an English manager. So, who do you get? Steve mclaren. Enough said. Now some English want to go down the same road? A bit strange to me. Before the WC capello was like a god to the English and now after another inevitable failure they're wanting him out. If I was part of the fa I would keep him.
