A very interesting read so far, only half way through it. Well done on the layout, easy to read and understand. I hope the club take notice of it.
Would be good if the support takes note of it too, and perhaps recognise the work that's gone into it on their behalf, whether they are interested in the supporters trust or not.

I can't stand these optimists.
Mid table finish.
Lots of moaning thrown in to the bargain. Might lose the odd game or five, somebody might get injured, but really he will have fallen out with the tea lady who picks the team every second week.Grind out some results here and there , promising mid season surge, stutter then fade out at the end.
Bit more moaning.
Roll up. Roll up, here we go again!!

...and Ethan Cairns to Forres.
As much as I'd like to have some of these guys available, particularly Cairns as he would give us something different up top, they will surely continue to develop more by playing every week rather than bench warming or ballboy gigs.

At risk of a warning this thread is getting feckin boring.

At both ends we were poor in front of goal. Disorganised in defence and wasteful in attack.

Feedback so far from the young 'uns is that is going to sell fast.
Any old firm connotations are irrelevant, they seem to like the colour and design (apparently it is a good combo), unlike the silvertops and fuddy duddies.

Described as orange and red, but the red doesn't show up well in the photos. Perhaps better in the flesh as there might be a better contrast.

What's wrong with an orange shirt on the 12th of July - I'd rather be a Billy than a Jaggie.
Staunch.

A great decision by the club. Pre season friendlies attract little interest so hopefully this encourages a decent number to attend.
Pity that there is some outdoor entertainment planned for Glasgow this weekend, might be some youthful types attending that instead.
Hope the weather holds.

Not really but just commenting on wording
Just glad it has been resolved and both parties satisfied. A few less rumours to worry about.

It's worded strangely though? Is it a one year deal with option as opposed to a 2 year deal?
Does it matter?
He's signed, we can continue to rebuild & begin our preseason.

That is exactly the path we are on and we just had our worst league finish in over 20 years, with eye-watering financial losses. That is entirely down to mismanagement of things off the park.
You can take a 'keep paying and praying ' approach if you like, but I won't be.
Our worst league finish in however many years is irrelevant as a couple points more and we were in the play offs with exactly the same 'brand' of hit or miss hoofball. The 20 year stat is a better headline grabber though.
Can't really say the eye-watering losses are entirely down to mismanagement, sure things could have been done better, or some not at all, but trying to compete at this level with dwindling attendances plays a fundamental part in the overall situation.
And the attendances were dropping before we were.
Paying and praying?
Maybe I'll just wring my hands & pray for a miracle, seems to be the trend.

This the same chairman who publicly stated he knew nothing about running a football club, which is why he brought in Gardiner. It should be no surprise to anyone.
Are we forgetting that the chair and ceo are only there at the behest of the board and shareholders...apart from some throwaway 'insider rumours' which rarely resemble accurate depiction of events, it seems those with real power & influence are content with the status quo.

Yes, no season ticket renewal for me. My current feeling is that I will support the team from afar and not attend any matches.
The current Chairman, CEO, SLO, etc contempt for supporters and 'Let them eat cake' attitude is disgusting and not an establishment I want to have anything to do with.
If everyone was to adopt this attitude, then what you would be 'supporting from afar' would be even less of a team than they are currently, with cash flow drying up completely and debt burden increasing.
Is this the path you wish to see us on?
Just wondering like.

Hoping that given his history, he is involved in the medicals and risk assessment for our summer signings and we wont see repeats of the 'injury crisis' from this season.................
What injury crisis?
Got an insider with juicy info...?

The main issue is that we are keeping that horrible red and black rag for another year.
Really?
Any chance of getting normal sizes back in stock if this is the case. Not everyone wears sizes beginning with XX ...
Considerable loss of revenue with regards to the restocking not happening.

2 best players off to Killie and County surprised that they both set the bar so low.
Both could have done so much better.
Typically we don't get a bean for either of them, criminal how we let our prizes assets slip through our hands year after year.
It's also an indication of where we are currently - some of our best just ain't as desirable as they used to be.

He has went to play at a higher level and get coaching from (in my view) a far more structured and professional level than he could receive at ICT. So whilst we don’t like it, there is ambition I would suggest!
Aye, all the top clubs were queueing up for him, he can join Malkys Malcontents though- if his ambition is to get a fair wedge and play for a misogynistic racist then he'll be fulfilling that.
Not having seen much of them but their end of season exploits indicate they need more than players of Allardices calibre. Certainly a test for the boys fitness.

All good faith to the guy is gone. No ambition

As much as anything we could do with a generous backer as @RiG says: to me, it seems there are a few big names in Inverness, but with egos to match, otherwise they could cooperate for the sake of the club.
One sugar daddy would be of enormous benefit for sure, but we mustn't forgot those other financial backers who have been servicing our ridiculous debt year on year.
Let's hope they continue along with us.

Thought Boyd had a decent run during the worst of our injury spree. Very keen on shots from outside the box, but not often on target.
Career wise he's not known for his goals.

Hoping to see some of the intensity & sharpness that Dundee United showed last night, although with the quality of players they have added maybe wishful thinking.
From the clips I've seen of us so far we haven't been close to the levels I'd expect, even with our shortened / hybrid preseason.
3 points today, regardless of how we get them, worry about the style later.
