I would go with Tommy the groundsman in goals, a back two of John Doc and Kellacher, MIke Noble at left mid, the one and only Yogi Hughes at centre half, Auldie at right mid, a forward line of Russel Latapy left wing Charlie Christie, inside left, Kenny Cameron, centre forward, nice lady on reception at inside right and guy in the car park on the right wing I think 2 - 3 - 5 might be a bit risky as a formation but could change it round at half time if we were struggling.

I have no doubts about big Eddie, ok his touch and perhaps his distribution skills aren't the best (but these will be worked on) but he holds the ball up well and certainly knows where the goal is. I think he's been a great signing.

For me he was as good a sports commentator as is possible to have, in a way the cricketing equivalent of what Bill MacLaren was to rugby. I found him incredibly engaging to listen to as he always had his finger on the pulse of any game

I am long overdue a positive post, but can't help myself....... For whatever reason our team, which has performed so well for most of the season, have now stopped performing and gone into reverse gear. Why on earth buy a replacement striker and not play them?? Also, not starting our regular no1 goalie now he is fit could be a very dangerous game to play, if he is recalled at a crucial time or moment.

Commentary is brand new guys, bit like a footballing version of last of the summer wine Hope they all go mental when we score, that's a must!

I agree, nice post TS, said it in two words And Brill back in goals for me too please, as he's fit and after all he is our no.1 goalie. I don't want Ryan to stay in goals until he makes a mistake and gets dropped, he's generally done a very good job but now time to step aside.
