I keep hearing people mention we can sign players from the HFL. Yes their are some very good players in the league but teams are not going to give us there star players cheap. It will require a transfer fee which ICT are unlikely to afford currently, plus some of the top HFL players are on £300+ per week with good day jobs. It’s not going to be easy attracting players to the club I fear.

This sounds like an interesting consortium set up purely to avoid administration. I personally can’t see it being a good thing for the long term future of the club sadly. My concern is that Alan Savage would walk away from the club if this deal goes through

Big Dunc will surely be sent packing come Wednesday along with his back room team. Would Spider be interested in taking the job? He did a great job at Buckie and would be a realistic option with the lack of funds

I enjoyed watching the young team yesterday. They played some good football and created some very good chances especially in the second half. Walker and Thompson were the pick of the bunch for me. I wonder if they are Jack & Robbie’s brothers?? Good to know we have a conveyor belt of good young players. Hopefully some of these lads are snapped up and utilised in the first team if we still have one come Wednesday 🙏

Getting the best players from the HFL sounds like a good plan but clubs aren’t going to give us there best players for free! Can we afford transfer fees? The top 4 or 5 clubs in the HFL have ambitions to become a League 2 team themselves

It’s time to be realistic. The current club structure is not sustainable, throwing money at it to just keep afloat is going to achieve nothing. The club needs to reset and start again with a proper structure and strategy.

I vowed at the start of the season to get behind the young players from our youth academy and support them. However the young lads aren’t getting an opportunity and I can no longer stomach the tactics and style of play offered up from Big Dunc. League 1 was an ideal opportunity to introduce our promising players into the first team environment and develop them into better players and build a team that could push on in a season or 2. I’m grateful we have a team to support but until Mr Ferguson walks away or is giving his marching orders Im out.

Why do we keep using the young players as an excuse? Only Macloed started the match. There is one issue but the powers that be can do nothing about it. We’re a full time side struggling in a part time division 🙈
