I enjoyed watching the young team yesterday. They played some good football and created some very good chances especially in the second half. Walker and Thompson were the pick of the bunch for me. I wonder if they are Jack & Robbie’s brothers?? Good to know we have a conveyor belt of good young players. Hopefully some of these lads are snapped up and utilised in the first team if we still have one come Wednesday

Getting the best players from the HFL sounds like a good plan but clubs aren’t going to give us there best players for free! Can we afford transfer fees? The top 4 or 5 clubs in the HFL have ambitions to become a League 2 team themselves

It’s time to be realistic. The current club structure is not sustainable, throwing money at it to just keep afloat is going to achieve nothing. The club needs to reset and start again with a proper structure and strategy.

I vowed at the start of the season to get behind the young players from our youth academy and support them. However the young lads aren’t getting an opportunity and I can no longer stomach the tactics and style of play offered up from Big Dunc. League 1 was an ideal opportunity to introduce our promising players into the first team environment and develop them into better players and build a team that could push on in a season or 2. I’m grateful we have a team to support but until Mr Ferguson walks away or is giving his marching orders Im out.

Why do we keep using the young players as an excuse? Only Macloed started the match. There is one issue but the powers that be can do nothing about it. We’re a full time side struggling in a part time division

3 points but wow that was poor. Good to see Billy score from a cross into the box. Second half was a very hard watch. I’m delighted we have a team to support but not enjoying the games.

James Nolan sounds like an interesting signing but so much for focusing on our promising youth players. Ferguson keeps highlighting that we are a young squad but he brings an 18 and 19 year old in?? I’ve lost all hope that we will get a striker.

I’m surprised to hear this. Jack has always been a stand out performer when I’ve seen him. I wish him all the best at Nairn

That’s a kick in the teeth to our youth players. Why aren’t we developing our own players instead of Ross County’s ?

Geezo what a rollercoaster ride that was. Incredible turn around in 2 hours. Hopefully this gives the club time to rebuild for the future and we operate within our means. I hope the club sticks with the youth but sadly I think we will see them loaned out and forgotten about.

I felt 4-1 flattered Nairn a bit. Nairn looked dangerous at set pieces and obviously they had the physical advantage. I felt our 2 CBs Walker and I’m not sure who the other lad was Leo? did very well dealing with Nairn’s direct style. We certainly had 3 or 4 good chances but failed to convert them. Some of the build up play was very good at times. Ferguson Jnr had a few good moments in the first half but he hasn’t got his dad’s aggressive streak. That must be the youngest team to represent ICT in any match?

Yea I’m hearing rumblings that Savage and co are stepping in. I expect big changes if true

I’m 100% prepared to accept mistakes and poor performances from the young academy players and fully support them. However I can’t support Big Dunc’s philosophy and style of play. It’s so frustrating to watch. The Second half was dire. They had 10 men and we are knocking it sideways and backwards

We badly need another CM so hopefully that’s true. I wonder who the GK is?
