That’s a kick in the teeth to our youth players. Why aren’t we developing our own players instead of Ross County’s ?

Geezo what a rollercoaster ride that was. Incredible turn around in 2 hours. Hopefully this gives the club time to rebuild for the future and we operate within our means. I hope the club sticks with the youth but sadly I think we will see them loaned out and forgotten about.

I felt 4-1 flattered Nairn a bit. Nairn looked dangerous at set pieces and obviously they had the physical advantage. I felt our 2 CBs Walker and I’m not sure who the other lad was Leo? did very well dealing with Nairn’s direct style. We certainly had 3 or 4 good chances but failed to convert them. Some of the build up play was very good at times. Ferguson Jnr had a few good moments in the first half but he hasn’t got his dad’s aggressive streak. That must be the youngest team to represent ICT in any match?

Yea I’m hearing rumblings that Savage and co are stepping in. I expect big changes if true

I’m 100% prepared to accept mistakes and poor performances from the young academy players and fully support them. However I can’t support Big Dunc’s philosophy and style of play. It’s so frustrating to watch. The Second half was dire. They had 10 men and we are knocking it sideways and backwards 😭😭

We badly need another CM so hopefully that’s true. I wonder who the GK is?

I am no financial expert but this situation with the current information we have looks extremely worrying and has desperation written all over it from all parties involved. Let’s hope it’s not what it seems

This style of football is killing us. We need to play a system that suits the players at our disposal. We badly need a midfielder who can break up the play. Our defence is all over the place. Walker is a big miss in there. I don’t think Billy and Adam have touched the ball in the Dundee half.

I reluctantly attended today’s game to support the players and I’m glad I did. I was impressed with the first half performance where we actually had an end product after 1 million passes. We never looked like an attacking threat in the second half but defended very well. Special mention to Matty Strachan first half, Keith Bray who looked a threat going forward and Jack Walker who replaced Danny. It’s great to see so many talented local players involved. Why are we not wearing the new strip??

I can’t see any first team squad players being risked in this game. I’m amusing it will be a young u18 side. I think Strathspey are advertising this game to get fans in which I hope they get as part of the gate is going to Mikey’sline

Im right with you. But will Ferguson learn and adapt his system to suit the team? He’s currently playing a system he wants to play and not what suits the players at his disposal.

There was no physio in our dug out tonight it’s absolutely ridiculous.

Big Dunc’s tactics are so frustrating to watch and in my opinion obviously don’t work. I lost count how many times our midfield or forwards lost the ball tonight deep in our own half, either trying to over play or pass backwards. We are so predictable and easy to play against. The alarming thing I noticed tonight was the lack of encouragement/guidance coming from the dug out. Surely the players can’t be enjoying Dunc Ball.

Yea started with 5 then reverted to a back 4 in the second half

The team moved the ball better at times tonight but still frustrating to watch us overplay on the edge of the box, then get hit on the counter attack. I think our defensive options are good but we need to strengthen the midfield and attacking options and a backup GK is a must. Macloed showed up well at times but he and Nixon got caught out for the goal. Bray was very quiet again and didn’t really get into the game. Brooks and Longataff were wasteful in front of goal and Billy showed what’s he is capable off when he is in the box. Walker lead the young team through the second half and Cairns and McKay looked promising. I think we really need to get behind this team as fans and back these promising young players. It’s going to be a roller coaster season.
