  1. count me in too
  2. No - Samaras & Corradi :016:
  3. Dods didn't play for the reserves so it looks likely to be Caff, Dods, Munro & Hastings
  4. My thoughts on the game Ridgers - couple of decent saves, good kicking, looked comfortable Tokely - usual 100%, seemed desperate to score MacDonald - assured full back performance Duff & Kerr - worked well together, tried to play a passing game from the back Vigurs & Sutherland - wide men performed well but Xander will have to learn to keep his mouth shut & not leave his foot in late Black & Soane - worked well together but the late challenge from Black was totally unnecessary & should have been a yellow card McSwegan & McAllister - made a good double act but unfortunately a comedy one. Top players - Vigurs & Kerr For them Ajeziri (No.11) looked promising, keeper (Robinson) ok & their sub (Craig?) not bad.
  5. Anyone apart from Man Ure !
  6. From where I was sitting (back of the stand at the halfway line) it looked onside & the Scotsport highlights were totally inadequate to try & prove otherwise. As HC mentioned Fraser's outfit was far more disturbing (maybe trying out his panto costume??)
  7. 18 teams gets my vote, make it into a real league at last, then have a division 1, division 2 & North/South Conference-style feeder divisions.
  8. ...............so it's alright for the supporters of a team representing Scotland in Europe to give the Red Hand of Ulster salute then. :023:
  9. diving whinger maybe, but still their best player by a mile & I'd have him back in our team any time
  10. Scotty, a question for you. I believe that it is possible to use Microsoft Messenger to hear whatever one of your contacts is listening to on their computer if you are having a conversation with them. If someone happened to be from the UK & were listening to online radio coverage of a particular football match would this mean their overseas friend could listen to the commentary too? Or am I talking rubbish again?
  11. full time 6-1, County out
  12. I've been listening to Sportsound on-line & they've just been jumping around the grounds - quite an entertaining afternoon.
  13. depends on who we're playing & what tactics the management are using
  14. compliments of the season IHE, it's more realistic than most of your posts anyway :016:
  15. We're 10 points clear of Dunfermline (+ goal difference), it's very unlikely they'll manage to overhaul that deficit before the end of the season.
  16. First goal - no chance, unmarked player on the line. From what I could see for the second goal Brown was wrong-footed when their striker mis-hit his shot, otherwise he would have saved it. Third goal - poor defending, Tokely out of position, Caff not up to speed, keeper no chance. Fourth goal - naive defending by a youngster, striker should always score a penalty, but it'd be nice if just once he'd dive the right way.

We lost the game because we forgot how to defend but for the first time in weeks I'm actually looking forward to going to the next home game. All that's needed is a bit of defensive revision along with a reminder to carry on passing the ball along the ground and the points will be in the bag.

we lost the game because we conceded 4 soft goals, no other reason, you can't blame the ref for poor defending
  19. 21. ...that'll be the one, Celtic won't know what's hit them when it's used this weekend
  22. 3-2-5 was the favourite back in the good old days when you could bundle the keeper into the back of the net
  23. I think that personal insults like that are completely uncalled for & suggest that you are the one acting like they are 'are young in years'.
  24. Sandy, you said you watched it on TV & weren't at the game, that's probably the difference. I think when you are there watching the game you always see it differently to what a camera will show you. As far as I'm concerned the first half was ok, the second half was a good performance, we could & should have won against a team that are very organised & hard to break down. A repeat performance at Easter Road should provide at least another point on the road to the top six.
