  1. £3 from the social club for the last couple of seasons, not expecting it to change this season
  2. http://radioplayer.tay2.co.uk/live/ Live, slightly biased, commentary available here
  3. Because it never rains in the summer in Inverness does it
  4. We'd be better off financially if they went down......
  5. Spoke to a ref the other day and apparently it's allowed now!
  6. If you can't get there from New Street, Moor Street station is only a couple of minutes walk
  7. £29 a night for a room at Premier Inn in Solihull
  8. The pitch is in the poorest condition I can remember, the closer you get the worse it looks, very difficult to play a passing game, both teams were struggling to control the ball. Might explain why we played so much better in Dingwall.
  9. Charles, not true. Test cricket is the pinnacle of the sport. As an analogy I suppose you'll agree that the only track event worth watching is the 100m as it's quick and exciting. The 10,000m must be rubbish as nothing happens for almost 25 identical laps before they sprint for the line......
  10. Gringo_jnr, is there any truth in the rumour that ex Caley Thistle star, Liam Keogh has pulled his boots on again and is playing for Auldearn? I can't remember where I heard the rumour but just in the off chance you've heard anything! I'm also aware that Auldearn play in the Inverness Welfare (I think) and not the Forres/Nairn league that you perform in; so I'm really clutching at straws! Apparently it's true, somebody told me they played against Auldearn recently and he was in their team!

  12. Yes, we'll done Davie, Allan, Jamie, Andrew etc for the Alamo like defensive effort! Most enjoyable effort by everyone.
  13. In The Shadows by The Rasmus was one.
  14. Conceding goals isn't just down to the back four, lack of protection from an attacking midfield is a big factor.
  15. I was never a fan of the pre-merger teams and would have had no interest in going to see either Caley or Thistle if they had joined the SFL. I'm sure there are dozens more theoretical refuseniks just like me.....

they went on sale on Wednesday
  17. First half Sportsound and Billy Dods was painful, second half tuned to MFR - much more entertaining.
  18. Social Club return bus fare £3, leaves for the match around 7.15pm
  19. second half (up until the red card) we were playing 4-4-2 with Sutherland up front

Surprisingly decent game. Only Highland League opposition but that's the most attractive passing game I've seen us play in a long time, Esson passed the ball out to the back four every time he had it and there were no hoofing it up the park at all. Warren went off injured within 10 minutes so Morrison came on and Foran played centre half for the rest of the match. Doran and A Shinnie looked lively from the start. MacKay scored a very well taken goal that came from a defensive mistake under pressure from our midfield but would have had a hat trick with more composure. Big Draper looks like he could be a good acquisition and full back Cooper was very impressive. Still not convinced that Shane is a winger but finished well after a good move. Sub Oswell looked good in the short time he was on and nice to see Morrison again (moved from midfield to right back in second half when Meekings went off and Cooper took over as centre half) and Polworth showed some nice touches. Only concern was that we looked very dodgy defending corners but hopefully a few matches together and that'll be sorted out.
  21. that would be the same City that had an average attendance of nearly 29,000 in the old division 3 in 1998-99 - bunch of glory hunters....
  22. There's a big difference (or should be) between the long ball and the aimless hoof up the park
