For or Against the Split?

Are you for or against the split?

At this moment in time (after the Livi game) I am against it, but if we had won the match and the Don's hadn't beaten Hibees I'm sure I would have been raving about it!!

My thoughts are:

For

- It was an exciting day for 3 sets of supporters this week and last.

- It stops match congestion with 12 teams in the league.

Against

- An uneven number of home/away fixtures

- Fans/Clubs unable to plan ahead for post-split matches as fixtures are decided after the last pre-split game.

On the wrong side of the split again but as long as were in the mix we'll eventually end up with the "rich" boys and a share of their dough. Once we're in the pot will we be so keen to give it up. Stick with the split and have faith!

While the split generates some temporary interest for a game or two for mid table teams such as ourselves, I'd much rather see the back of it.

Against the split.

Leaves end games meaningless and not much to play for.

What we need is more teams --16 sounds good. It's boring playing the same teams over and over.Keep the excitement going to the bitter end .
