With the SFA now moving the Scottish transfer deadline to 1700 BST on the 1st September to align with the English FA what do you think the chances are of anybody coming in or leaving before then?

With the rumour that there have been scouts at a few of our games there could be the possibility of a bid coming in over the weekend for some of our players. I hope not but would have definitely have said that Imrie would have been one of those targeted if he had not got injured.

Don't think the extra day makes any difference to things and this tendency to move the dates around is a load of unnecessary nonsense.....if there's a deadline, then that should be it, if it falls on a weekend or whatever, then it's not like clubs aren't aware of it in advance.

With regards to our position.....can't see any of our main players heading out the way unless we get offers we can't refuse, and that's unlikely in the current economic climate. Hopefully we can shift a couple of the fringe players out on loan, but that's purely me thinking about the financial situation as opposed to wanting to see anyone go.

Coming in, I think we've had our lot unless Butcher can get a striker that's more promising than what we have already.
