Good to see confirmation that contracts have been offered to Esson, Tokely, Golabek, Proctor and McBain.

With 12 already signed, adding the 5 above would give us a pretty strong base squad for next season with a good mixture of experience and younger, ambitious guys. Also leaves room for a few new signings as I imagine we'll want to run with a squad size of around 22 which would be both sensible and in keeping with the need to watch the pennies and not be carrying any dead wood.

If they sign, our squad is solid enough. All we will need to do is bring in a few fresh faces and we will be laughing.

I'd also like to think that Shinnie, Morrison and Ross are going to push on and become players who are challenging for starting positions. That's almost like 3 new signings in important positions (right mid, centre mid and left back/left mid). Perhaps even Shane Sutherland may push on and get some games from the bench.

Hopefully these contracts will be concluded this week as the wait is annoying...

Should they all stay that gives us a squad of around 20 players but i reckon we could do with at least 5, possibly 6 players to make spaces competitive and add some experience.
