BBC Scotland Match Day coverage

Maybe one for Mr Bannerman to answer but what is the deal with the online BBC streams! They end their broadcast very soon after matches end. This is both live games and the Open all Mics stream!

but they have an operating surplus, so why cutbacks? No recession there, unless government is slashing broadcating budget (if there even is such a thing).

from the article: "The BBC imposed 20% budget cuts after the freezing of the licence fee and new obligations to pay for the BBC World Service and the Welsh fourth channel S4C."

Ach well, at least Doctor Who is back on, it's about the only thing I use the BBC for aside from checking their website from time to time. I honestly don't think I'd notice that much if they stopped operating all but the current affairs/news side of things tomorrow.

The BBC charter does not cover an Independant Scotland its funding is purely UK

So the Nationalist won't presumably be worried about BBC coverage

The BBC is purely a UK based funded organisation

No BBC in the South of Ireland which was a former member of the UK
