Ryan Esson

Sounds like he played well today, was just looking through Tyrone Smith's Twitter feed (expecting bias but actually he was fair to both sides) and 2-3 times he used phrase "great save from Esson" which is a positive, especially with all undue criticism lately.

He also mentioned at one point that it was an even game so surely we WILL get back to winning ways, yes??

Anyway, BRING ON CELTIC, we have nothing to lose haha!

He elected to punch several crosses and each attempt was poor at best, fumbled and was caught out a few times where we were lucky not to concede. There were some good saves though and in a poor tepid display I agree he did play a more memorable role than some.

Time for Brill to be recalled if fit though.

I still think that Esson is marginally the better of our two very competent 'keepers and, being the man in possession of the gloves, has done nothing to justify being dropped.

For me Brill has to be back in ASAP.

Defence don't look as good, Brill starts us playing from the back, organises. All round a better goalie.

And look at the form in the 10 games Won 3, Drew 4, Lost 3 - but lost and drew to teams way down the league.

Hopefully Yogi gets it right soon.....
