Attributes of our Managers

Comments on another thread got me thinking. If we could take certain qualities from all our past managers and mix them all together to mould a master what qualities would you take from each of Pele, Robertson, Brewster, Christie, Butcher, Hughes.

Have left out Baltacha because some folk may confuse his attributes with ICT and with Caledonian.

Brewster the manager - nothing

Brewster the player/ manager - His playing skills

Pele - His 2 wingers, that was entertainment

Pele-attack philosophy

Robertson - dunno

Brewster - the PLAYER/manager

Christie - put him to stud..see if we can get anothet £500k for the club coffers.

Butcher - high media profile

Hughes- the ability to mime tactics from the technical area

Pele. Counter attacking football and ability to hit perspex in dug out without breaking it. Tokely, Stewarty and Wilson the list goes on...

Robertson. Take the ball to the corners for the last 10 mins, getting enough out of the team to earn entry to the SPL

Brewster.  Having a player/ manager, philosophy of taking every ball to the by line for a striker to head the ball in the net. Ending up with only one final form of attack led to becoming the first and probably the last manager to get the slipper.

Christie  A good tactician, (we can always put his son out to to the stud farm )

Butcher. Ability to punch holes in perspex, having such a high profile must have made it easier luring players to the Highlands. A motivator.

Hughes. Cup winning credential's. Likes a challenge, why push on with 4 players to beat when we can go backwards and pass through 11 opponents again. Having a good eye for allowing youth to develop.
