I have never been a huge fan of domestic football being interrupted for international weekends but accepted it in the Premiership as a necessary evil.

However, with so few current international players plying their trade at a lower level in Scotland, is is there really any need to have have this frustrating interruption in the Championship or below ?

Provably not...could have been an opportunity to show the Championship game highlights on TV in the absence of Premiership games. 

on this occasion it will help with our injury situation.

Good point, hope Seedorf's ankle injury isn't anything serious - we've been cursed by injuries since we won the cup!
