Whatever happened to John Scott?

Was at Liverpool I believe before joining Caley.  Looked a very decent player against Rangers in the 1996 quarter final.  Then seemed to disappear.  Was only 21 when he played his last Caley Thistle game.

Just searched the name, and the only one in a reasonable age bracket, played for Fraserburgh in 1997...and that's it, no other info on the guy

I think he went to play in the US after leaving us, maybe with a college team?

As far as I know John is still coaching  college football in the US and doing very well. Met him on Nairn Links when he was home a couple of years ago.

I’m fairly sure after the US he came back and played for Deveronvale. Was his dad the manager or something like that? But he did leave us to go to the US, I think on a scholarship.

He scored a belter against Forfar at Telford Street. Broke through from the half way line and rounded the keeper if I remember.
