THE GINGER ONE WILL BE SUSPENDED

After the headbut and kung fu kick on Saturday me thinks both the ginger one and Dods (will not regain his place) will miss the Tannadice decider.

Ironic really!

Levein was saying yesterday that the way it stands Robson will only miss 1 game but if he were to be booked again he's be suspended for 4 matches - not quite sure how that works though  :017:

Bit like Black with his 3 games.  Each suspension gets longer through points accumulation.  The straight red will have merited a 1 match ban in it's own right, but another booking will take points to a level to get him 4 matches.

Reading between the lines of what Levien said on Radio Tay I wouldn't be surprised if Robson has quite a few weeks in the reserves to reflect on his stupidity.

It was mentioned a few weeks ago by somebody that Barry Wilson was a better player than Barry Robson, and the response (OK response is stretching things a bit) was a load of laughing smileys from that 'font of wisdom' cantbeatus. But if you look at their careers so far, it's a fair point.

Duncan Ferguson ended up going to jail for a headbut not any worse than that.....

Maybe referees were more lenient in these days - Thanks to John Rowbotham, Big Dunc was neither booked, nor sent off in that game - Rangers vs Raith Rovers.... It was the procurator fiscal who watched it on Scotsport and called for him to be arrested and charged....
