Breaking the stranglehold

After Aberdeen's spectacular collapse, having led the Premiership for a while last season, it's great to see Hearts continuing to lead the pack against the (financial) odds, well past the halfway point this season. Can they hang on and finally break the Old Firm strangle-hold? Think we had some sort of alliance with them a few seasons back - can't remember what it was all about but good enough for me, I am now an unashamed glory-hunting Hearts supporter for the rest of the season - anything to break the dominance of the Gruesome Twosome!

I would love to see another team win the league out with the big two, even Hearts. It’s a three horse race now so the top six after the split will be interesting.

Midweek fixtures haven't done Heart's title aspirations any harm despite a slippery derby game against Hibs, which they won with a last-gasp goal. Great to see Rangers losing a couple of points tonight against a classy Motherwell side, and so close to seeing Celtic doing likewise against rock-bottom Livi!

Huge game this Sunday: Rangers vs Hearts. C'mon the Jambos!
