Brewsters Last Game??

With Brewster retiring at the end of this season and ICT at home for the last game, will Brew be playing himself?

Fans and media alike seem to have forgotten this, what would be his final game as a player.  Unless he is sacked and moves down several leagues.

Brewster seems to have found a speciality for deflating excitement out of a situation, which can sometimes be a good thing, so maybe he is hoping to keep out of the limelight and give Wyness or Paatalienen their chance to win a contract.

For me it would add a little spice to what looks to be a rather unspicy fixture against a mediocre and somewhat underachieving Saints side.  And maybe a few fans from from down the A9 might wish to send brewster off?

Wyness, Wilson, Brewster, Hart all going this will be the last time to see the old guard in action.  Or not :symbol_question:

Lets say Brewster gets another season and in the close season makes a half dozen or so changes that result in a team that starts next season with a winning run of more than six games.

Will views change at all.

I know Mee wont change cos she's still bitter at him letting Hissie go

No, he's had his chance, he fecked it up by going on that poor run from January after what was a good run including manager of the month, whats to say come later in the season he goes and fecks all the good work up again, then were back at this point again with him.

The doubts will always be there. he's a fitness coach trying to act as a manager.

No-one seemed to point this out when we were on a good run.  Until he leaves I'll be backing him and the team.

We went on a very short good run in December. You've been posting here for five minutes. Browse the threads from then rather than making up rubbish off the top of your head  :018:

Personally, If Brewster stayed and made prudent signings and started next season successfully I would indeed back him.

That said, I am fearful that nex seson will hearald our first genuine relegation scrap at the business end of the season.

I don't need to have been posting to know what the general consensus is among fans.

Slating Brewster and the team won't help anything, just encourage fickle fans to jump on the bandwagon. :33: :33:

I was telling you to check previous threads as folk HAD pointed it out, I wouldn't bother checking too many threads since December mind you.  While you're catching up with the rest of us (hopefully to stop any future wild assertions), why dont you have a look at the threads in the weeks BEFORE brewster was appointed if you really want to know what the general consenus was.

And in future, you'll need to expect to be pulled up about stuff you post that people disagree with, this is a forum for debate, not a place of worship  :33: :33: :33:

And i was merely posting to disagree and debate your recent post.  I will try to adhere to your guidelines and make a more positive contribution to this forum.  :009: :019:

Good. You'll have to  :001:

Back to brewster, if he was to play it would be one of the highlights of a pretty dull season (aside from beating celtic), and some much-needed excitement injected to an end of season game.  Only wish we could have given him a bigger send-ff against a bigger team.
