  2. Well money talks ! A Celtic side, in the second half that, that showed pure class in stages with outstanding goals to boot. How can some of you posters slam the players and manager that has taken us further than we have ever gone before. I know you will say you are just giving positive and fair criticism ! but you are not. You are slagging them off to put forward your own unprofessional opinions trying to prove yourselves as the I know better than they do brigade. We were defeated today by the league champions who have a squad of enormous proportions and capabilities far greater than our own. No shame in that ! Well done ICT you held them well 'till they eventually made the breakthrough. I'm proud of you guys and I hope we do make Europe you deserve to. In my opinion Neil Lennon with all the resources behind him could only feel ashamed if Celtic didn't win the league, He can smile now but shouldn't feel he has achieved greatness, next season could find him biting his nails again. edited to say well done Doran, a consolation maybe but a goal all the same !

  3. Apologies if you thought I was having a go, for the record I wasnt. Of course you are entitled to an opinion it's a forum for that after all. I , my opinion, do think you see the game differently on tv. You get the benefit of close ups, replays ect. Stuck in a corner at Parkhead you don't get that view. I don't like getting beaten by Celtic either but let's face it with their resources it's bound to happen most of the time. Our guys are honest pros and we dont exactly have a lot of reinforcements waiting in the wings to freshen things up. Again a personal opinion, but I for one want us all to get behind the guys in our final 4 matches and hopefully history will be made.

  4. Well yet again Celtic away didn't fail to deliver. Rubbish result but was always going to be a difficult ask to get anything today. I thought in the first half we were strong and tactically Terry and Mo got it spot on. In the second half however, we struggled and Celtic were deserved winners. A handful of us waited to watch the Celtic lap of honour / Neil Lennon speech. Back in the LRT post match it seemed we were noticed as we got a free round of drinks as a thanks. It wasn't our day however. Onwards to Perth!

  5. Unless the TV was at a different game I saw the same as everyone else. Just giving an opinion, thought that was allowed (thank you IHE). Want the best for the club going forward as we all do. There's no doubt it's been a great season overall, but I think we're capable of a lot better than we've been showing lately that's all - and I hate getting beat by manky Celtic.

  6. OTJ did well enuff in the first half but I thought that his head went down when they scored. Foran simply does not have the stamina to play a whole game in central midfield. Draper is simply wasted out wide. This ain't slamming as this was always going to be a damage limitation affair - but why not feckin criticise as there are holes that need filling. Lets not all get into the lets be nothing but positive crap - cos if we do we will not be making more history this season.

  7. Funny how you see the game differently if you go to the game in person. I'm assuming you didn't? We all thought OTJ was one of our best today along with Josh! When Celtic scored their first you just knew it was game over. Was always going to be a near impossible task tbh. The guys did their best as far as I could see but it wasn't enough and to be honest Celtic were better than us in the second half. Not too despondent as we are still 3rd. Other results went ok for us this weekend and its up to our guys at St J next week. We are having a red and blue away day so hope as many folk can travel as able.

  8. I know he is popular with many site regulars but I will say it again, sorry but OTJ has been mince since the Jan break. Doesn't pick anyone up, jogs around the mid area with no real purpose. Him and Ritchie were worse than a man short today. Apart from Draper with his forward runs, our midfield was posted missing yet again today. Again poor passing gave the ball away so easily to Celtic time and again. We need a holding midfield player who can at least find a blue shirt with a pass otherwise the front guys won't get in amongst the goals again. I didn't expect a win today but I am so frustrated at our standard recently as we have been so much better. 'Well could seriously dent the goal difference if we don't get ourselves going. Only positive was the other result and Josh Meekings getting recognition as YP of the Month as he has been our best player for weeks now.

  9. That's dented the goal difference. Hope the County- St Johnstone game is a scoreless draw.
