  1. We've been drawn away to Hearts in the last 16 of the Scottish Youth Cup. Tough draw, but we're well above them in the league this season, so there's a decent chance.
  2. Dear Owain Fon, have you told that guy next to you how nice Inverness a place is to live, work and bring up a family? AND with your connections you could probably get him a game with the local football team.........

Just looked at our record v Motherwell under Mark McGhee in his previous spell in charge. We've played McGhee's Motherwell 7 times: won 0, drew 1, lost 6 Yes, it's a different era, different players etc. but McGhee will feel he's got the mark on us - it'll be a stern tactical test for John Hughes. Also surprisingly for this fixture, there have only been 4 draws in 42 games, which is quite unusual between two clubs who are often 'well matched'.
  4. Report from DUFC Official Website Dev League: United 2 Inverness CT 3 November 3, 2015 In an entertaining encounter which helped light up a dank and dismal foggy afternoon at Dundee United’s St Andrews training complex, the Highland visitors edged it by the odd goal in five. By Peter Rundo The combination of the Youth Cup tie on Sunday and tomorrow’s League Cup tie at Easter Road meant it was a less experienced Tannadice side than usual. Nevertheless, they had by far the better of the first half going in a goal to the good after Ola Adeyemo had fired home from close range after five minutes. However, Inverness hit back through an Ally Sutherland volley ten minutes after the restart. And ten minutes later, they were ahead when Nat Wedderburn curled home a free-kick from 22 yards. At that stage, the visitors looked like they might run away with the game passing up a couple of good chances, but instead United recovered and Justin Johnson cut in from the left to fire a shot from outside the box which went under the keeper to equalise with 15 minutes left. Unfortunately, United conceded possession just inside their own half and Lewis Horner raced forward to crack home the winner in the final minutes.
  5. The winners of the ties between LTHV and Huntly and Wick against Linlithgow would all be great away trips IMO.

Totally agree if we cant get folk in basically free I dont think prices are the problem here. In reply to Deanos point above when the players visit schools free adult tickets as well as childrens tickets are offered. Good old pester power must work sometimes? However I have spoken to a player on that subject and they find it frustrating that the kids they meet are very keen to come but the adults wont bring them! Surely you can't be saying £12 for the coldest and wettest part of the stadium to take a kid to the game is a decent price. That's pretty poor. I've got 3 girls and sadly neither are interested in football after me trying a good few times to encourage it but I wouldn't ever take them to the dreaded uncovered sections which would have definitely turned them away. Football for the occasional fan is expensive but it's not the only reason why people aren't turning up. People's work commitments at the weekends take priority and as I work 7 out of 8 Saturday's I rarely get to games now unless I request a date off especially What I meant to say was the open section is an option made available to fans, or for a few quid more you can sit in the North Stand instead. But don't get upset over having this section available to fans if you can't make it to games and your kids don't want to go either. I'm not upset, I was just questioning your reasoning on thinking £12 per child for an unsheltered area was decent. It should be £10 for an adult in those areas.

What a terrible subject! All these guys must feel really good reading how they were thought of at this so called "family club". I bet not one of you could lace any of these guys boots!

Heaven forbid a bit of humour on this site eh. Let's not forget these guys were trying to earn a living so as long as you can all accept people laughing at the your work performance then that's fine. Sorry but not my idea of humour
